Paraminabea aldersladei (Williams, 1992)

These small soft corals live in ledges and small caves on the seaward reef and some lagoon pinnacles. By day, they retract into an inconspicuous orange lump, but at night the translucent polyps extend outward to feed on passing plankton.

A base with polyps retracted during the day. These lumps are usually less than 25mm in diameter.
