3i invested £159m into Audley Travel in 2015 in order to support the team to expand the business’ UK presence, and use its international network to realise management’s ambitions for the company in North America and help Audley expand its operations into new geographies.

Solution

FP&A and financial modelling support included:

  • Rebuild of the existing management information pack which formed the basis for outputs to senior stakeholders
  • Own output of presentations to senior stakeholders including Exec, Banks and 3i (P&L, BS and Cashflow)
  • Deliver scenario analysis and management information requests
  • Developed a new forecasting model to support several reforecasts and the budgeting process
  • Supported the business on project tracking and forecasting, working on a high-profile transformation project, including regular updates to the Exec
  • Ownership of Investment cases for long term capital investment decision making
