A Knights Oath of Fealty

In light of the leaked images of Kylo Ren kneeling with his sword pointing downwards, I would like to take a minute to discuss something we may have overlooked.
An oath of fealty, from the Latin fidelitas (faithfulness), is a pledge of allegiance of one person to another.
Kylo Ren is depicted as a knight in TFA and in TLJ (from what we’ve seen) From his light sabers design which has a cross guard hilt resembling the classical knightly sword that developed during the age of the Crusades.
In the most current depictions of Kylo Ren– he is kneeling with his lightsaber. Knights usually kneel to pledge their allegiance to someone. They often although not always present their swords in doing so. This is symbolic in history as well as film. See Game of Thrones where they kneel before Jon Snow and proclaim him King of the North.
What one would assume after watching TFA is that these new leaked images would be of Kylo kneeling before Snoke pledging his allegiance swearing and oath of fealty (of sorts) While this may happen I would like to point out, that Kylo Ren has already kneeled before someone else (albeit unconsciously)
In film, this is foreshadowing at its best. Kylo has already kneeled before Rey. Okay, yes he was crouched, but we wouldn’t expect him to outright kneel before her if we wanted to keep the future plot line secret now would we?
We all have wondered what was the reasoning behind his crouched position. Was it to look less threatening to Rey? Was he just very curious? Or could there be another meaning? I am going to take a stab and say it is because of all the above. It was to show a contrast in his treatment of Poe. Kylo put himself in the submissive position for Rey. I also believe (because JJ Abrams is a genius) he was foreshadowing his fate.
This dark knight crouched/kneeled before the girl bathed in light.
If and when he swears his allegiance to Snoke in TLJ you can bet that it is a farce or he will go back on his oath to him. We can pretty much count on this because the star wars data bank clearly states in a not so subtle way…
“Kylo swore his loyalties were only to Snoke. But he was intrigued when he captured Rey, a Jakku scavenger whose Force abilities were raw but very powerful. A mysterious connection seemed to link the two.”
