Hillsborough County has two Superior Courts and a Circuit Court. The Circuit Court system was created July 1, 2011 and has consolidated the former Probate Courts, District Courts and Family Divisions.
The United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire has jurisdiction in Hillsborough County. Appeals from the District of New Hampshire go to the United States Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit.
