Concordia’s North Building, a former law school located just under 3 miles north of the main campus, is fast becoming a state-of-the-art epicenter for CUAA’s blossoming health care offerings.

Editor’s note: A version of this story first appeared in the fall 2023 edition of Hearts Together. The official magazine of Concordia University Wisconsin and Ann Arbor publishes biannually.

The university purchased the building in 2015 and launched CUAA’s first-ever undergraduate nursing degree programs the following year. Since that time, the building has undergone significant changes as renovations have continued in order to allow for expanded programming.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), health care is expected to add 1.9 million jobs between 2018 and 2028—more than any other occupational grouping. Concordia’s North Building hosts six health care-related programs. Through these programs, learners can pursue degrees that would prepare them for seven out of the Top 10 careers in health care today.
