Ablutomania
Meaning: an obsessional preoccupation with cleanliness, washing or bathing, often accompanied by compulsive rituals
It is derived from Latin ablutere meaning to wash off and Greek mania meaning mad, crazy.
My mother has ablutomania, so she takes bath almost 5 times a day.The child’s ablutomania had become a pain for his mother as she was constantly engaged in looking after him whenever he went for a bath.
