Physical Description

Cup, cast iron, reproduction of German [17th century] silver nautilus shell cup; nautilus shell shape raised on the shoulders of a kneeling Pan figure on a stepped circular foot; the head to mid body of a lioness clasping grapes lies on top of the shell curving around the side into a curled acanthus leaf; satyr mask in high relief to front of shell; grape leaf designs in low relief to sides.
