General Description

Smooth scaled, black above with coppery bronze markings aligning to form broad ragged stripes. Upper flanks black merging to grey on lower flanks, spotted with white.

Biology

These skinks can be found in cool temperate wetlands including swamps and tidl salt-marshes. Adults give birth to live young.

Distribution

Southern Victoria, extending slightly into South Australia and the south east corner of New South Wales.

Habitat

Lives in cool temperate wetlands including swamps, lagoon margins and tidal salt-marshes.
