Eucalyptus microcorys, the tallowwood, is a common tree in 7th Brigade Park. It is rather stunted by the drier conditions compared to the immense proportions it can attain on wetter sites with good soil. Bark is fibrous and a little stringy.

Eucalyptus microcorys is one of the better shade trees in the Genus Eucalyptus.
