Description
English: Mountain Pansy (Viola lutea) The short grassland between Holwick Head House and the River Tees is populated by a large number of these beautiful flat-faced violets. Separate colonies show distinctly different colour forms from the striking tri-coloured type shown here to those almost wholly yellow.
