Actor Elijah Nelson has made a name for himself, starring on shows like Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and on the TikTok channel he hosts with his brother Shiloh. In his latest starring role, he’s getting revenge on his bullies in the terrifying supernatural thriller, The Unhealer, which comes out in June, 2021.

What is The Unhealer about?

Nelson stars as Kelly, a teenager tormented by local bullies. When he falls ill, his mother, played by Natasha Henstridge, enlists the help of a Shaman (Lance Henriksen) to heal him. The faith healer, unfortunately, botches the job, leaving Kelly with super-healing powers that don’t just make him invincible, they transfer whatever injuries he inflicts on himself to those around him.

Prolific actor and Lake Manitoba First Nation tribe member Adam Beach, and action star Branscombe Richmond co-star as the indigenous locals who are the only ones who can try to relieve Kelly of his supernatural powers. Check out the trailer above.
