Deborah A. “Debbie” Cuomo

November 26, 1952~April 20, 2023

Born Deborah Ann Freudig on 11-26-1952 to Marie (Marciano) and Charles Freudig where she grew up in College Point, NY. A devoted mother, Grandmother, Aunt and loyal friend. She was loved more than she could have ever known.

Survived by her Life Partner Carl Sacco, children: Danielle (Robert) Pavone, and Patti (David) Finney. Stepchildren: Erin Steurer, Joe Sacco, Stacey Baldwin and John (Brittney) Sacco. Grandchildren: Gianna Pavone-Aviles (Dylan), Robert, Ryan, Ava and Giulianna. Step-Grandchildren: Violet, Rowan, Draven and Lucius. And Fur babies.

Debbie was blessed with some of the most wonderful neighbors and community who quickly became extended family. She was lucky to have such great friends (You know who you are, and thank you for all that you have done) who were always there to help when needed.

To know Debbie was to love her. She always had a way of making everything fun and loved to travel and visit new places. Her adventures were limitless, from riding rollercoasters to flying around the world as a flight attendant, all while making sure her family, extended family, and friends were unconditionally loved and always a priority.

Debbie loved her home in holiday where she lived for the last 21 years, hosting parties in her 1950s diner garage. There was always ice cream and malted milkshakes readily available.

We all have everlasting loving memories we will cherish forever, and she will continue live on in our hearts and watch over us all as our kick-ass guardian angel.

My dearest Carl. My heart is so broken for you by this profound loss. There are no words of comfort I can say. Only hold you and your family close in prayer and know that our Heavenly Father IS right there with you to comfort you. Death is so very sad, but thankfully it is just a period of transition to her Home in Heaven. I’m sorry I didn’t know Debbie better. She must have been special to be loved so deeply by you. Continued prays my friend. ❤️❤️❤️
Much Love Stacey

Carl, Patty, and Danielle: Although I only knew Ms. Debbie for a few months I was so fond of her. She was such a sweet and lovable lady. I am glad I got to know her even for awhile. She will be sadly missed. You, her family, had a great lady and mother in your lives and now Heaven has another beautiful Angel. Gods blessings to all.

Hoping your rest is peaceful. Mike fondly remembers growing up in that big Italian family. I will always remember how welcome and comfortable Debbie made everyone who touched her life. Prayers for all her family and friends. Heaven has gained another angel.
