Description

You are bidding on what is most likely the largest known eakerite crystal ever recovered from the Foote mine. The crystal measures at 11mm long and is doubly terminated and lying flat on albite crystals, associated with several smaller eakerites to 1mm. Collected by the late Walt Ollis in 1978. I have been collecting minerals from this locality for over 15 years and this crystal exceeds the largest I've seen by several millimeters! Not often you get a chance at a best-of of a rare species!
