Description

Goedkenite is a very rare Sr-Al Phosphate named in 1975 by Paul Brian Moore, Anthony J. Irving, and Anthony R. Kampf in honor of Virgil Linus Goedken.

Palermoite is another very rare Li-Sr-Al Phosphate named for its occurrence at the Palermo #1 Mine, North Groton, New Hampshire, USA.

This specimen hosts both of these rarities. Gemmy Goedkenite on a gemmy clear Palermoite crystals in a vug of the matrix.
