Winifred – or Winnie – is one of the Sanderson sisters in Disney’s Hocus Pocus. As the oldest and most competent one, she’s the leader. The three sisters were awoken from their graves and tried to keep themselves alive and young by sucking the life forces from young children. She started terrorizing the town of Salem, hoping to kidnap children to steal their souls and keep herself from dying again. Winifred is the sister who initially sold her soul and those of her sisters to Satan in the 1600s in exchange for magical powers. She’s highly intelligent, sadistic, and evil, and has a fierce temperament. Fortunately for the children, Winifred’s visits to Disney parks are very rare.
