It seems like Patrick Kielty half listened to Justin Timberlake's song Suit and Tie and took only part of the advice as he left viewers - and his mam - rather confused with his wardrobe choice on Friday.
The Late Late Show host went for a rather irregular fashion choice on the night opting to wear a full shirt, blazer and trousers combo but his neck was noticeably bare.
Now not to say that the double-breasted suit wasn't a good look, the Northern Irish man looked well, but viewers had a few thoughts on his lack of a tie.
More specifically, it was how Patrick had the top button of his shirt done up with not even so much as a scarf around his neck that got people talking. Even with Vogue Williams sitting across from him discussing her children's religions, it didn't do enough to take eagle-eyed viewers' minds off the host's look.
'Paddy. Wear a tie or just undo the top button, please,' tweeted one person who tuned it and clearly wasn't having an easy time paying attention.

Others were questioning if it was a choice or simply a mistake in the rush to get to set with one person writing, 'Eh think you forgot to put the tie on,' and another added 'Just wondering did Patrick forget his tie?' But a more generous person who tuned in had an easy solution to the issue penning: 'I am going to start a crowdfund so we can buy Patrick Kielty a tie.'
For his debut show last week, Patrick didn't have a tie on either but it made more sense considering he was wearing a black t-shirt under a blazer, opting for a more casual look.
If the 52-year-old wants people to pay full attention it seems like the last three options, a T-shirt under a suit jacket, undo the top button, or just wear a tie. Put us out of our misery Paddy and pick one.
