FERRUM, Virginia – The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) has announced its All-Conference team in men's basketball for the 2023-24 season and Ferrum College's
Jikari Johnson has been included.

A junior guard from Durham, North Carolina, Johnson has been named to the All-ODAC second team. Johnson is Ferrum's leading scorer this season with 17.6 points per game. This is Johnson's first All-ODAC honor.

Guilford College guard Tyler Dearman was named Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. Randolph-Macon College's Josh Merkel was tabbed Coach of the Year, while Bridgewater College guard Jordan Cooper earned Rookie of the Year honors.

Johnson is averaging 5.1 rebounds per game for the Panthers this season, shooting just under 40% from behind the three-point arc, and is 83% from the free throw line. His stat line also includes 43 assists, 38 steals and 15 blocked shots.

The Panthers are 16-10 this season through 26 games under second-year Head Coach
Patrick Corrigan. The #10 seed in the 2024 ODAC Tournament, Ferrum beat #7 seed Bridgewater 76-67 in a play-in game February 19, on the road.

The Panthers now face #2 seed Hampden-Sydney College in the ODAC Tournament quarterfinals, to be held Thursday, February 22, at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Virginia. The Tigers are currently the #1-ranked team in the nation in this week's
