The AFU received an armoured vehicle Gurkha for evacuation of wounded soldiers, it is built on the basis of Ford F-550 Super Duty

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have received the first Gurkha armoured vehicle.

Here's What We Know

The information was shared by the Ministry of Health Protection of Ukraine. This is the first of 13 vehicles ordered from Canada. The money for the purchase of cars was collected by the United24 Foundation. The car was specially created under the order for Ukraine. They will be used to evacuate wounded soldiers from the battlefield.

Gurkha is based on the Ford F-550 Super Duty. The vehicle has armour of STANAG 4569 standard. The vehicle is produced by the Canadian company Terradyne Armoured Vehicles.
