Do I write in third person omniscient? I got a comment complaining about this "your writing is pretty good even if it is in third person omniscient" or something to that effect.

It’s not even third person omniscient though??? Look, the thing about third person omniscient/limited is that they CAN bleed into each other because that’s just the nature of povs. But omniscient tends to bleed povs together rather than just following one person per scene/chapter, and I very distinctly write povs for one character. What we learn about the other characters in said chapter are THEIR observations (which are sometimes wrong and I WRITE as being wrong on purpose, especially when it comes to Loki or Thor from an outside perspective).

Third person omniscient is perfectly fine and can be crafted into some of the most beautiful stories, I just know that’s not…what I do? My sister complained about this too. She said I kept writing in omniscient when she read my og novel. I’m not. Sometimes I think the moment a third person writer leaves objective people are SCREAMING “omniscient omniscient omniscient” like it will actually murder their child even though a) it’s NOT omniscient and b) THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH OMNISCIENT.
