Wolstonbury Hill, the Devils Dyke and the three forts.

This stunning walk climbs over Wolstonbury hill to join the south downs way and takes us to the Devils Dyke from which the panorama must surely be the best view in the southeast of England we undulate across the downs to Edburton Hill where a gradual descent with far-reaching views to the coast leads us to the station at Fishersgate, where we take the train to Brighton where you can join us for a drink or continue home.

MEETING POINT: 08:45 at London Victoria Railway Station in front of the departure boards near platform 12.

TRAINS: We will be taking the 09:25 train arriving in Hassocks 10:20 journey time 1hr 2 mins. Return train is from Fishersgate.

COST: £8 organiser fee pay on RSVP

GRADE: Intermediate/Hard, 21km-13m 600m ascent undulating footpaths with three steep ascents. 5.5hrs hiking
