Description
Callistemon laevis pink. It is a very resistant plant to drought but it will appreciate generous waterings in summer. It receives the common names of Tree of the brush, Red tube cleaner or Red brush. These erect evergreen shrubs with arched branches can grow up to 8 meters in height. It has narrow, pointed leaves, leathery in texture, greyish green in color and giving off a lemon-like aroma. The very showy red flowers appear in clusters of about 12-15 cm in length. They bloom in spring and summer.

Care:
Water little in winter as the plant enters the resting phase. Fertilize each year with humus or compost in autumn. It is advisable to prune them every year eliminating the withered flowers after flowering or to do it more intensively in spring.
