Methods of Preparing Epichlorohydrin

Abstract

Various methods for the preparation of epichlorohydrin have been studied and analyzed. Epoxidation of allyl chloride with hydrogen peroxide in an organic solvent in the presence of a heterogeneous catalyst was shown to be a promising industrial-scale preparation method.
