General:
Evergreen perennial plant from a short rhizome; stems yellow-green or dark-green, single or in clusters of 2 to 7, 10-30 cm tall, with distinct annual constrictions.
Leaves:
Lanceolate, about 2 mm wide, broadest in upper 1/3, with pointed tips, bent back or spreading.
