Towards the end of my holiday time and I was going a little stir crazy, so I headed out for lunch. I was excited to see that Bearden's offered veggie or Impossible patties with all the fixings, or subbed into their fancy burgers. I had a Gouda burger with Impossible and some shoestring fries. Both were pretty solid, maybe not the best I've ever had, but good! I just went with water, but it looked like they had house or craft sodas, so I would definitely be interested in trying those. I do have to say, the sodium level in the food was pretty high. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised from a burger and fries, but I drank around 4 glasses of water when I got home!

The interior is cute - very retro.

This is probably not the place for a quiet lunch or dinner. I was not the only one going stir crazy that day if the general noise level of the out of school crowd is anything to go by.

So overall, a fun cute place to visit with good food, and a pretty low-key, but not quiet, family friendly vibe.

      Local 50s style diner?
Braeden's is local staple diner right off Lake drive just over the bridge in Rocky River!
This family owned diner is a great quick stop for 50s diner style food, ambiance, and friendly service made to order.
If you're a local you already know and if you are just visiting, be sure to stop in!
Lots of great burger and handheld options with sides and tasty malts and shakes!
A perfect family spot with low table seating and booths avaliable. Takeout is also a great option!
Check out the menu with a range of option's at moderate price's. Fountain drinks are all in house options.
      Enjoy!

This cute little diner in town has a charm of its own. The burger & breaded mushrooms were a hit. If you haven't been, it's worth a visit for the experience. I'd recommend it as a pleasant spot for a casual meal, especially if you appreciate the allure of small-town diners.

Such a great place for burgers and amazing milk shakes and malts.
They also have vegetarian and vegan options.
Had their BLT here for the first time and it was so good! Crispy white bread and juicy inside!

We were visiting Cleveland and read about this restaurant on a Food Network site, so we decided to try it out.

The burgers were good, if you like greasy diner food (which was exactly what we were going for) and the rest of the fried food was okay, but it tasted a bit like the grease might be old.

The service was okay - there were younger kids working, so kind of what I'd expect,

Overall, it was a cute place to try, but didn't quite live up to the hype.

Local joint in Cleveland. We odered The Big Bear, think big Mac. The peanut butter bear burger and the mushrooms burger. They were ok but on the smaller side. Go if you want a little attempt at a 50s burger joint but if you don't, you don't.

Way OVER Priced! I sent my lunch back because the sandwich was terrible and black toast (imo) is unacceptable. Never eating there again.

We brought our 4 grandchildren here after a show. We were telling them how great it would be and how much their Daddy's Loved it and the train as kids.
      First the staff was amazing.
That was all that was good.
The train doesn't work anymore at all.
The food was not good except the milk shakes which were very small.
I wouldn't have even written this if we hadn't spent $90
for 6 small shakes, 2 kids meals,
2 regular cheese burgers, 1 regular hamburger. a veggie burger and 2 large fries.
At these ridiculous prices the train should at least work!
i wouldn't recommend and will never go back.
Such a shame. Thwy will be out of business soon!

The worst service model EVER! Waited 10 minutes at the register to order while 2 workers munched in sight of the counter. Back counter was littered with food waiting to be served while the prep area had discarded items everywhere. Not the place I grew up with! I took a picture because I won't be back!

This iconic diner is a trip down memory lane in a vintage Thunderbird! It's an old school burger and hot dog joint, that's been going since 1948! The 'steakburgers' are delicious, as are the sides. They even have clam strips! Some have complained about the prices, but unfortunately, everything has gone up since the pandemic, and restaurants have to pass along the costs in order to stay in business. If it's an inexpensive burger you want, you can still find a good one at Canary's or George's, but you can't find a steakburger there. Bearden's claims a proprietary mixture of meats that gives their burger a unique flavor. Try it, you'll like it!
