I have to start out by complimenting Ashley who was so friendly, helpful and efficient. I give her 5 stars - personable, professional, genuine and patient. A fine example of the qualities anybody would want in a team member.
That said, Fran gets "0" and should consider a new line of work or just something that is not customer/human facing. Maybe a perfect fit for a back office role doing audits at night, or something that involves no people. She uses condescending tones and pretty much matched the exact profile of a person working at DMV who makes these visits unnecessarily painful.
The last visit was with an African American woman who had to be the worst state employee I've ever come in contact with. After waiting 90 mins, she found one signature on a title that was missing a date. Knowing this was sold out of state, it's literally impossible to physically go meet the seller to collect a date of signature. She knew that I was forced to enter the date on my own, but made me leave the office and come back to pull a number and wait for another 60+ mins. In the end, the date was placed onto the doc and completed at another more friendlier DMV, albeit after a 20 min drive and another 30 mins of waiting.
Seems like an unnecessary amount of time spent by two state employees. Our tax dollars hard at work.

Extremely rude people. Long ass lines as always. Never clear otp with what is needed. This location falls to the bottom of worst dmvs ever

Denver should be embarrassed of the DMV on West 44th Ave. The woman running the place was horrible and condescending. She treated me like I was garbage and just wanted to get rid of me. Worst experience I have ever had at a DMV.

Went today to get a registration done and checked in and 1220 and ended up leaving after waiting for a hour. Just got the message at 315 to go in the building, that's government efficiency at its best! Glad I didn't burn my afternoon waiting on this place for 3 hours...

3698 W 44th Ave is the place to go in Denver for **in-person** DMV services. Arriving before 9am is the first choice, otherwise my experience has been that the lines are a lot shorter here anytime over other DMV locations around Denver. The manager is first rate and this definitely makes a difference. If you happen to have Stacey as your expert behind the glass, you will get excellent, efficient service

They will make you wait in freezing conditions outside before they help you. Greeter or whoever she is was ridiculously rude

I'd like to give it 0. I moved to the state with a new job starting at 0 hours PTO and working east coast hours.
I will have to take unpaid time to make it esp if I have to wait.

Best DMV experience I've ever had. Employee will greet you with a tablet and ask for your cell phone so you can avoid sitting in a waiting room with a ticket. In just about seven minutes I was called in, waited for my number and I was out in about 20 minutes. Employees were very friendly!
I would recommend not going at the end of the month. For reference, I went at 7:15 AM on a Thursday and there were only five other people waiting to get servicedHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
