Whatever these people are doing, however this business model is fashioned, it needs to be replicated. This is a modern twist on the old small-town family doctors who made house calls. We have Medicare plus a Medigap policy and it appears that our insurance has covered every dime. My husband is 90 and was about a week post Covid recovery when he felt short of breath one morning. What a RELIEF to contact Dispatch and not drag him around to Urgent (?) Care places where he could sit for who-knows-how-long surrounded by God-knows-what other viruses. They are thorough, efficient, give wonderful advice. I am SOLD.

What a joke. They saw my wife for flu like symptoms in January 2024. It is now the end of March 2024 and we are still fighting with them about billing. They claim to have an "open case" with my wife's insurance, but continue to send us bills for the full amount. Trying to find someone willing to help (or even willing to listen) is next to impossible. I double checked with the insurance company and they have no record of a claim from this outfit.
Next time we have a medical need, we're waiting for our doctor or the doctor's office urgent care.
Never again. I urge you to avoid these people like the plague.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michelle H.Glendale, AZ6645Jan 11, 2024
They are useless. Will not treat you with breathing problems or much else.
Put you through intake, questions then say, we can't treat that, go to emergency but they claim the have everything to treat you at home.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - V S.Phoenix, AZ01Mar 1, 2024
My mother is 91 years old and has desperate need for this service. She can't walk has dementia aphasia and suffers from frequent UTIs.
Because she's not mobile this service has been a blessing. However After using the service a few times they wrongly advised my mom telling us it was OK to take penicillin that had been prescribed and used previously.
The penicillin had grown bacteria and My mom ended up in the hospital so I reached out to their CFO, Kevin Riddleberg to let him know.
Shortly after my mom was ill and in need of their service and a nurse called on the way to see her my mom - who was keeled over in pain and the nurse was asking questions
Such as "well why is she in pain what do you think it is" what are her symptoms? What is she feeling? I said she doesn't speak because she has aphasia, so can you please just come and check her
This Nurse went psycho on me and never came to see my mom. So when I called to complain They had no interest in addressing the issue with this nurse instead, this other nurse told us my mom is discharged and can no longer use their service because I complained twice. And they don't like complaints.
I have reached out to both the CEO and CFO via email and phone twice and they have chosen to ignore.
My mom had another UTI and desperate to get her care because she's not mobile I tried to schedule an appointment the same evil nurse called me back yelling at me saying don't ever call them again.
A healthcare provider telling an elderly ill person to not call them again

how would you like it if your mother was treated like this?Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Candiann B.San Francisco, CA01620Sep 20, 2023
They see my whole family. The nurses are all amazing, they come same day or as you wish. The bedside manor for which they carry is the reason I use them before my Drs. Today they came to check my back surgery wound. Yes I ripped it, but the nurses weren't dramatic they advised an changed dressing.
The fact they come in to your home. I ha e very loud decorations an they all just smile..
The nurses are super smart an know what they are doing. I just love this place an employees. Even the reps on the phone are just amazing they really treat you like a human an not a number or.price tag.
Sorry for spelling it won't let me go back an fix anything lol ..
But definitely will continue to use this company...thank you for taking such great care of us.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Missy G.Raleigh, NC1646810Nov 28, 2022
Be warned y'all, this service is unbelievably convenient (especially with a sick toddler), the phone staff is professional and courteous, the providers are kind and thorough.... It seems like the perfect solution to sitting in a crappy urgent care for hours while your kid licks a chair and ends up twice as sick. It's all great until they send your labs to a different state, to an out of network lab, and you get a surprise bill for $600 for a flu test.
I do my due diligence to ensure our providers, hospitals, specialists, etc are in-network because we pay for top tier insurance and I want to utilize it. Never in my experience has a provider sent labs to another state or an out-of-network lab when there are literally hundreds of labs in my city that I would have zero responsibility for the bill.
I'm grateful I can pay a $600 flu test bill, but other families need to be aware... this could have robbed the majority of America from having Christmas or eating. (Statistically less than half of the US population has $400+ on hand for an emergency).
Do better for your patients, DispatchHealth. People in vulnerable positions should be able to trust you won't actively make their lives harder and create financial hardships.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Joe T.San Francisco, CA02Feb 17, 2024
if there was a lower rating i would give it---each time i have tried to get a same day appointment they dont have them---so why do they advertise that option.

My wife has Cyclic vomiting syndrome which
is characterized by episodes of severe vomiting that have no apparent cause. Episodes can last for hours or days and alternate with symptom-free periods. Episodes are similar, meaning that they tend to start at the same time of day, last the same length of time, and occur with the same symptoms and intensity. Dispatch health came and gave her much needed I.V. fluids and nausea medication and we were able to avoided a trip to the E.R. I recommend them highly.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jane S.Phoenix, AZ017Oct 18, 2023
My primary physician couldn't see me and suggested I call Dispatch. I was able to get an appointment for the next morning. They were on-time and very professional. Just as I suspected I had an infection in each ear. They called in a prescription for me and were on their way. How easy is that? Definitely recommend when you are in a bind.

Waited all day from 11am-9pm, then I get a call at 9pm they are not able to come. I even called at 7pm to verify where we were on the list and was assured they would be coming.
Then all they off is they can come the next day but again it would be a big window.
I could have taken my daughter somewhere else.
Will never use them again.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
