The most beautiful little Parisian hotel is Hotel Littré. Hidden off the path, it was the most romantic hotel we stayed at during our trip to Europe! Everyone was so kind and polite.

When we arrived, there were flowers and champagne waiting for us in the room. We opened the door to the balcony and the view took our breaths away!

The room was spacey and gorgeous; I felt like a princess in a fairytale during our entire stay. When we opened the window, it felt like the opening scene of Beauty and the Beast when Belle greets the town with "Bonjour!"

Housekeeping cleaned the room everyday and it was so nice to come back to a clean room. The absolute only feedback I really have is that I wish there were more power outlets inside the room. Other than that, this is the perfect Parisian hotel, especially for a romantic vibe. :)

      Terrible experience.
      - Could not use shower on morning one. Took several hours and numerous staff members to fix.
      - Every night between 11pm and 4am an insanely loud noise reminiscent of a ship's fog horn would blast every 5 minutes. Made several middle-of-the-night trips to the lobby in search for help but nothing was done, not even an apology.
-Charged for mini bar items that were never in the fridge and had not been consumed. For anyone who chooses to stay here, I recommend documenting everything very carefully.

We have been staying here for 2 days now. So far it has been a great experience. The staff is really nice and attentive. Eddy helped me print my tickets and provided me with an outlet adapter. The rooms are a good size and the bathroom is remodeled with a nice shower. The buffet breakfast is my favorite and they give you a variety to choose from.

Charming and elegant Parisian hotel that is a complete delight.

We were very fortunate to have this hotel as part of our Costco vacation package. It is situated very close to the subway and within walking distance of many restaurants and shops.

The service here is a superb and the daily breakfast is splendid with the hot chocolate being their speciality. The rooms are clean and compact and elegant enough that you that you truly are in Paris and not in a facsimile of Paris.

Although the staff here speaks English we made sure to learn basic French in order to greet them and extend our thanks. If you are on a budget, make sure you fill up during breakfast so that you won't be hungry again until dinner time.

Our stay here was truly memorable and enjoyable as I'm sure yours will be too.

Booked Hotel Le Littré via Costco Travel so I knew this hotel would not disappoint.

-Location: the hotel is situated on a quiet street but one street over is the hustle and bustle of Blvd de Montparnasse, which has several cafes and eateries to choose from. There are Metro and bus stations nearby allowing great convenience for using Paris' expansive public transportation. Also nearby is an ATM, Post Office, Boulangerie, and lastly, a McDonalds (I didn't eat there but I used it to find my way back to the hotel). For the Asians, there's also a noodle place a few steps away (though I can't vouch for its taste since I didn't try). Also, just a few minutes walk away is the Montparnasse Tower, a nice place to get a view 59 floors up, especially beautiful at night.

      - Hotel amenities: a daily breakfast buffet is available serving freshly baked French breads, croissants, raisin pastries & chocolate pastries. Juice bar, yogurt cereal bar, eggs, sausages, bacon, charcuterie and cheese spread, and some think French crepes. Free WiFi, 2 computer and printers, Hotel has elevators.

-Rooms: rooms come with shower, bathtub, safe, flat screen tv, iron, hair dryer, 2 robes, and an in room minibar fridge (which you can use to store leftovers if needed). There was no coffee maker or microwave. I also did not see an ice machine on the floors. Rooms were big for Paris standards.

      -Service: friendly, English- speaking

      I would stay here again!

Beautiful hotel on the outskirts of all of the main tourist areas. Rooms were exceptionally clean and good-sized for a European hotel. Daily continental breakfast was delicious and had something for everyone, including my son who must eat gluten-free. Front desk and concierge were incredibly helpful with everything from offering guidance on things to do and purchasing metro & bus tickets. They even went above and beyond...after we checked out of the hotel, we realized that we had left some photos on a boat tour we took on the Seine the night before. They offered to call the boat company on our behalf to try and get them, and were very good about keeping us informed on the progress.

We were a family of 5 with 3 kids ages 19, 18, and 11, and I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We (me, husband, 14 month old baby) stayed at this hotel for 6 nights during our recent trip to Paris, and overall I recommend it, especially for families traveling with babies/young kids.

      Pros:
*Great location in the 6th arrondisement, right near Jardin du Luxembourg (a great place for families), Montparnasse (major train/metro station) and the Montparnasse creperies (some of the few decent restaurants in Paris open before 7 pm), and a reasonable walk to most Rive Gauche tourist attractions.
*Breakfast was pretty good - the pastries, especially the original croissants, were above average even by French standards, and they also had eggs, potatoes, meats and yogurt. Would have loved more fresh fruit, but that was easily remedied by hitting the grocery store around the corner. Nice long hours for breakfast (7-10:30).
*We arrived at noon very sleep-deprived off a redeye flight. They worked hard to get us into our room as soon as possible, and we were in the room within about half an hour, even though the official check-in time is not until 2 pm.
*They arranged private car transport for us to/from CDG, which was fast, friendly and very efficient, if not exactly cheap.
*The lobby is absolutely beautiful (and huge by European standards). There is a sitting room with tall ceilings and a skylight (and a lovely courtyard off of it) that became my favorite place to read. There are also very nice public bathrooms, two desktop computers (one has a US keyboard), free wifi and a large (for Europe) elevator that can accommodate two adults, a stroller, and suitcases.
*Reasonable prices, especially for suites. We were able to get a "junior suite" (which was really a true suite, with a door between the living room and bedroom) for what I consider a pretty reasonable price. Space is very limited in Paris and most other hotels wanted two-three times what we paid here for anything resembling a suite.
*Our room wasn't as fancy as the lobby/breakfast area, but was clean, comfortable and spacious by European standards.

      Cons:
*The maid we met was very kind, but pretty incompetent. We had taken extra towels and soaps on purpose, and she removed all but one towel and one bar of soap - not very practical for two adults and a baby! She also threw out lots of things we wanted to keep, like plastic water bottles that we planned on refilling with tap water (these bottles were sitting by the sink, not discarded on the floor). Housekeeping was also weirdly aggressive about coming in the room, and when we had the Do Not Disturb sign up (which we did for much of the afternoon, thanks to a napping baby), they would CALL the room, asking to be let in. They did this repeatedly even after we asked them to stop calling. Thankfully the calls never woke our baby, but I would have been pretty annoyed if they did.
*One day we overslept and my husband ran down right at 10:30 to grab some croissants that were still sitting out. The breakfast room manager literally chased him away while yelling at him. Given that the croissants are obviously being thrown away and not reused the next day, what's the harm in letting a guest take a few to go?
*The service at breakfast was terrible in general. They were supposed to come around and ask what you wanted to drink, but some days they never came around at all, and when they did they took forever to bring the drinks. Also the coffee was TERRIBLE. I'm not a coffee snob by any means but even I could tell this coffee was very very bad.
*When we went to check out, they said we had taken some things from the mini-bar we didn't take. They removed the charges when I complained, but check your bill carefully.

We stayed 4 nights in Paris with another couple before going on to Italy. The staff was so kind and pleasant and very helpful. The location is just perfect for easily getting around Paris, with close Metro locations. Our room was nice and big, clean and very functional. The breakfast was good with the very nicest waitstaff I've ever meet. I will not only return myself, but will recommend this hotel to my clients!
As a travel agent, I am always looking for hotels that are not only comfortable and in a great location, but good value for the money. This is it!

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and I cannot recommend this hotel more. The service was amazing, our room was wonderful, and the daily breakfast was a good addition. This hotel has very easy access to the subway and quite a few restaurants in the area. If you are looking for a place to stay in Paris look no further. Hôtel Littré is the place to be.

Lovely hotel. Very clean and updated. The staff is very polite and helpful. Breakfast is huge buffet. I we lived the location close to Le metro and the train station. It's also very close to many bakeries and restaurants and open air markets. Would definitely stay again.
