Hamler's Burgery

I have enjoyed my access to exquisite French cuisine during my trips here, but Husband was craving "anything but French" for dinner and with the rain we decided to be lazy and try out Hamlers.
(It is literally a 3 minute walk from our hotel).
WOW.
The burgers were incredible!! I loved walking in and smelling the patties on the grill and hearing the sizzle as they cooked.
We ordered the Mumler (cheese burger) and Mumler Farm (spicy bacon burger with peppers).
We each got frites--mine with cheddar and his with the blue cheese. Our food was ready in less than 10 minutes and our take away bag was handed to us with a smile.
Back at our hotel I barely contained my excitement as I tore into my burger. That first bite was a satisfying combination of juicy spice and crunch from the bacon.
I love that the beef is medium to medium rare as that is how I prefer my meat, and the bun was soft like a cross between a brioche and a Dutch crunch.
My frites were crunchy and covered in cheddar and I happily dunked them in mayonnaise and the sweet Dijon mustard they gave us.
They have space for a sit down meal, but also do take away. They have sodas and beers but also milkshakes!!
The gentleman taking our order was friendly and was kind enough to switch to English as I kept practicing my terrible French on him.

What a wonderful surprise for those craving a burger. Trust the French and their well prepared cuisine, as their burgers are perfect too.

Saw this place while walking and made a mental note to return for dinner one night (when we grew tired of rich French sauces)
It's sort of like Five Guys...you can have a single or double patty. Fries are like New York Fries...very good.
We both ordered the Burger with bacon and Poblano.....the burger is angus beef and is fresh. It's cooked a little more red that we're used to in North America, but it was delicious. Bun was odd and fell apart when eating...it wasn't stale....in fact it was very fresh...it just didn't stay together (it is thinner than N.A. buns, so that may be why)
2 burgers, 1 order of fries, 1 pop and 1 San Pellegrino came to just over $21€.
Staff was very friendly and the cashier flipped to English when he realized we were from N.A.
Food was worth it and I would return again.

Great find The burgers are served on a flat bun that allows you to taste the 1/3 lbs (est) of beef. Fries were buttery Great price too. One small problem- no ice for coke

Okay being an American traveling abroad, it's bad form to eat burgers while overseas, right? Oh well, we cam across this place when the place we were looking for was closed unexpectedly but I'm really glad we found it! We had the cheese burger and veggie burger... All of which were outstanding on homemade rolls. Freshly ground beef and hand cut fries where punctuations to the meal. Add to it the fact they had Brooklyn Lager, this was a good meal!

Add to the good food the old school metal (AC/DC) playing in the background... You get the picture !

A solid burger place! It might be a tad on the pricy side if you're on a budget, but the warm service and modern design made for a great dinner.

Fresh meat, perfectly cooked. Several choices of burgers available. Friendly service. We will return.

Excellent Burgers, Fries and Shakes! Great Service! Wish we had found it sooner. We had been looking for a good burger place but yelp isn't the most reliable in Paris. We found this place walking around and tried it the next day for lunch. If we hadn't left the next day we definitely would have been back. The ice cream and shakes are made fresh! Good tunes. Good vibes. Great burgers. Both the cheddar fries and the blue cheese fries are great!

Buzzy little burger joint - might've just opened? Tasty and fresh and good fries. But of a queue to get in but I demolished the burger! Would come back for a quick tasty feed .

We were just looking for a quick bite to eat and this was perfect. The burgers are fresh and handmade, but the fries are amazing!

Awesome burgers and fries, good music. Good atmosphere. The cheesburgers are as good as any I have had in the US. I highly recommend this place!
