I've been to the downtown Quinton's several times and always enjoyed the food, so I recently ordered takeout from this location. It's pretty decent bar food. I got a burger and cheese curds. The portions are huge, so you won't go hungry. I also ordered my burger well-done, which is always tricky. It turned out perfect and tasted great.

While I didn't dine it, it does look like they have plenty of seating for groups. The order was super quick too. A good choice if you are looking for somewhere not too busy.

Found this place on the Pub Pass app so decided to give it a try (subscription service that has participating bars and restaurants for drink "coupons." Quinton's was for a BOGO beer, the amount removed from our bill did not reflect a BOGO but food we ordered was hot and good. Curds were pipping hot, ranch tasted homemade, pulled pork nachos were great.

They have a sign posted up that they charge 4% if you are using a credit card. Had planned to pay with cash however the service fee was already added to the bill so thought it would be a hassle for it to be requested to be removed so just paid with card.

The restaurant sits in a busy retail area with many chain stores and a couple other restaurants. No issues finding parking right in front of the bar, could see it being tough if a big game was on because it and a neighbor restaurant would have a lot of patrons most likely watching the game.

Bar & grill in a small strip mall, close to lots of shopping. Small, shared parking lot.

Lots of craft beers and a large menu. We shared appetizers but would be excited to come back for the other offerings. Food was great, the Chislic was perfection (beef tenderloin). Our server was lovely, albeit service was a bit slow. Beers / drinks were great.

Not sure why the low ratings. Great local bar with impressive food at a fair price, which is difficult to find nowadays. I was a bit surprised at the food options because it was unique but really good. The bartender was awesome. If you leave low rating then you're just bitter at life.

Where do I even start, I first walked into the restaurant and it took a minute before I was helped. I overlooked the reviews on this place because the menu looked appealing. However after my experience I understand why the reviews are very low. First it smelt like sewer in the restaurant and it should've been shut down for that alone the health inspectors should come take a look at this place before anyone else eats here. It took a while before we were able to get our order taken but that didn't bother me much. When our server came to take our order she explained how the manager was being a pain and how she was dealing with her as well as serving the tables. After a while I was finally able to get my order, I took a few bites and it did not taste fresh at all even though I saw the server take it to our table almost immediately after it came up in the window. The Nashville hot sauce on the sandwich was gross and the fries were cold and soggy. While I was eating I overheard my server talking to a chef in the kitchen about how bad of a week she's had and how she was supposed to be off early since she's worked so many days in a row. The manager was drunk at the bar giving the server no help at all. Finally the server was able to get the manager to go home because they were being a menace. I finally got sick of everything and was ready to go but i wanted to talk to my sever before I left to let her know that the service was not acceptable, she apologized profusely and emphasized that she was sorry that she failed me and said she will take care of my bill but that was not my intentions at all. I told her that the manager is a POS and she needs to get out of this place before the stress begins to take a toll. Overall I would give Quinton's a 1 star but since I feel bad about how they're abusing their employees I'll settle for the 2 star. The manager should be fired for acting a fool at the bar and treating her employees like garbage. I saw a lot of potential in the server and her skills would be much more valuable anyplace else. If you enjoy smelling sewer while you eat, receiving less than bare minimum service, and eating gross food this place is perfect for you! If not, I suggest going literally anywhere else.

Quinton's is a solid choice in Coralville.

There are weekly food and drink deals. Some notable ones -- $6.99 Burgers + $5 Mules on Monday. 2-for-1 Wings (Dine in Only) on Tuesday. $3 Bottled Beer on Wednesday. Half priced drinks on Thursdays. $4 Big Girl Margs on Fridays. $5 Double Wells on Saturday. And Happy Hour ALL DAY on Sunday.

Happy Hour is 3pm-6pm (and all day Sunday). Basically, get $1 off drafts, $6 appetizers and $2.50 Wells

This location is small but well thought out with a good mix of booths and not. Parking is a non-issue. Staff is pretty friendly. Pricing is standard. Delivery via CHOMP is available. Beer selection is excellent. Menu has something for everyone (even littles)! And their fries more times than not are piping hot and super fresh.

Honestly, I just feel the quality of food at this location has lacked in the past year or so. I really want to give this Quintons a four star.

Come check them out if you're craving a soup bowl, sandwich, loaded baked potato (STELLAR... just be warned a half order will suffice) or just a kid-friendly bar for some drinks with your partner.

I've been to the quinton's in Cedar Rapids but this is the first time I visited the one in coralville. I know the one in Cedar Rapids is a very good place so I was anxious to try this one. They had a very large craft beer selection which is always a good thing. I tried something new to eat as I always like to do with quinton's because most of the food is very good. I had the chef's beef sandwich with chips and it was very good nice change of pace for a beef sandwich.

The place was clean and service was very good. I was surprised that they did not have tables blocked off but perhaps those restrictions have been lifted in this area.

Glad to see they are just as good as the Quinton's I visit frequently in Cedar Rapids.

I really don't understand the negative reviews, perhaps they were from a long time ago. We had a great experience here as a group of 8. Fantastic food, a unique menu (for bar food), lots of great beer choices and a friendly staff.

We had the pork nachos (would recommend), gluten free sandwich (pretty good), the breakfast spuds (awesome) and lamb burger (would also recommend). All of the food tasted great and was reasonably priced.

Booths are big with plenty of room to spread out. Parking is easy and it's convenient to I80 if you are driving. I would check it out if you need a break or have a group looking for great food options. We can't wait to eat here again

If you are in the mood for Fresh homemade bar food at a great price look no further.

We were Quintons Fans from living in North Liberty my spouse works late and they serve food late.

As always we order the Poppers. So amazing!
Fresh homemade which is the element of surprise sometimes they are spicy sometimes they aren't depends on the Jalapeno.

I get the cobb with steak and Chicken added this salad without meat is still a great portion thank you for that!

Just a tip the baked potatoes are amazing half order in one full potato and a full order is 2 full potatoes. I was overwhelmed once.

Depressing environment. There's never been more than three or four patrons in the establishment each time I've gone here. That should be a good cue. The food is pricey for what you get; a bread bowl soup is about $7.00 and you might get a ladle full, as they don't cut very much out of the bread bowl at all. I didn't see soup in a regular bowl as a meal option. A baked potato is about $7 or $8 as well, which is way too much for what you get.

They have the NFL Sunday Ticket, but only three TVs at the bar, which makes the whole exercise pretty pointless. Surely there's something better than this place and BWW that has the Sunday Ticket?
