Retrospektiv

We've gone to Retrospektiv about 3 times. So far we have purchased one large Walnut mirror. The selection is very good and the prices are reasonable, particularly considering the Design District location. Furniture includes credenzas, dressers, coffee/end tables, dining tables, night stands, desks, chairs, lounge seating etc. He also has very cool MCM art, lamps and other household items like drinking glasses.

Craig is knowledgeable and sources his wares from all over the mid-west, Canada and other locales. Go check him out!

Retrospektive's prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. So far I have bought a dresser plus a couch and a number of chairs which they are having reupholstered. Craig gave me advice on where to find fabric for the reupholstery and, when I showed up desperately overwhelmed with a pile of fabric samples, he helped me understand which fabrics were durable, worked best with our home's colors and fit the furniture's period and design. Sigh of relief! Thank you Craig!

For me, buying from Retrospektiv means old, beautiful, quality furniture is being revitalized and reused. I love the furniture's character, lines and the little details that are hard to find in modern pieces. Their stock comes from all over the US and the UK. Retrospektiv is definitely worth a visit!

Great selection, friendly. Will be going back often to see the cool stuff they have in stock.
