We went early on a Saturday morning at 9:30 so there was no crowd besides a father and child at the bar area. It did start to get crowded around 10AM with the golfers coming in for a quick bite. I had the French Toast and Bacon. The French toast literally tasted like nothing. If nothing had a taste it would be that French toast and berries! The bacon was nice and crispy tho 10/10! I did have a taste of my mom's breakfast wrap and it was decent, maybe I will get that if I were to go back. The scenery was very nice, that was probably the best thing about the experience! Server was good as well, nothing extraordinary to brag about but I have no complaints. Maybe I would come back to try lunch and dinner but as a person who loves breakfast that was definitely a no for me.

A friend of mine RAVES about this restaurant, and she'd tried to take me there sometime last Fall, only to find when we arrived that they were closed for a private event. Flash-forward to end of the year and we finally got the opportunity to have dinner there together. I failed to see what she's so impressed with - feels very much like upcharged bar food based on it being part of the Chateau Elan family of restaurants. Our server was nice but because we the only people dining in there on a rainy night, she gave off the vibe that their staff wanted us to get out of there so they could clean and close up early. Several items on the menu were unavailable, but no alternatives were offered - a recommendation would've been nice. Nothing I ate blew me away. Super boring taste and presentation. 2 stars for cleanliness and view.

My partner and I ate here on Sunday, the 30th of July. Our waitress showed up about once every twenty minutes so it took ages to order. Then she brought us sandwiches with zero sauce of any kind on them and disappeared for another 20+ minutes so we never got to enjoy our food. Asked the guy at the pro club counter to call the Chateau Elan shuttle for us and he was grumpy and annoyed as well. People don't go to nice places like this to be treated like crap. We will not be back, nor will our family.

Nothing spectacular. Had the Mahi Mahi tacos and grilled chicken sandwich. It wasn't bad, just nothing to rave about. Chicken sandwich was $16.00 and $15.00 for tacos. Just something quick before my husband and I got back on the road. Chick-fil-A would've been more satisfying.

I wish I had a Sarazen location in my hometown!
Sarazen is a casual dining experience with 360 degree views of the surrounding golf course greenery. It is a small location, however they serve up big flavors that made me come back twice during my stay at the Château Elan!
Guests have a choice between sitting inside or outside. I recommend sitting outside because the views are so beautiful, but be warned that the flies will want to try the food just as much as you do!
I ordered the Mahi Mahi Tacos after the hotel staff recommended it to me, and it was delicious! I ordered it both times I went to the restaurant. The dish comes with three tacos with either grilled or blackened Mahi Mahi, mango coleslaw, and drizzles of crema. Both styles of cooking the Mahi Mahi were great, but I enjoyed the grilled more!
With any of their dishes comes a side of your choice and if you're reading this you NEED to get the waffle sweet potato fries! They are absolutely amazing and the way the chefs season it makes you never look at sweet potato fries the same way! Yum!
The service and cleanliness of the restaurant is top quality and I hope to return someday soon!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jackson B.Smyrna, GA11358204Oct 27, 2019
My girlfriend and I, for her birthday, as well as three friends, came in on Sunday, October 27. Around 1:35 PM, the restaurant was not busy at all; we got sat and everything seemed fine at that point. I ordered a Bacon Bloody Maria and received a bloody Maria with no bacon, which was no biggie, but that was the start of the problems.
The spinach and artichoke dip we ordered for the table was quite late, it was good not great, but good. The rest of our food took about 25 more minutes to arrive. Almost every order was wrong, 3/5.
First or all, one person asked for loaded nachos, but didn't receive guacamole. Second, my girlfriend ordered a sarazens chicken sandwich, but with blackened salmon instead as well as sweet potato fries and what arrived was neither the salmon BLT nor the sarazens chicken sandwich and no sweet potato fries. Finally, I ordered the chateau burger medium rare, without lettuce and tomato add a fried egg, with sweet potato fries. My burger had no bacon, it was burnt, and my sweet potato fries were cold.
Honestly, the only time this whole year I've felt like I've wanted to give a bad review. Simply terrible.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mary E.Braselton, GA023Oct 14, 2022
Hmm where do I begin? I recently moved to the area earlier this summer and have stopped by Sarazen's a few times to grab a drink or a quick bite. The food is usually good, a bit pricey for a basic sandwich with fries, but the drinks are almost always good and that's the real reason I go. I used to always see a tall brunette behind the bar (can't remember her name) or Abby, and you could tell they put in lots of effort for their specialty cocktails, but the new bartender (blonde, petite) who is almost ALWAYS there seems to complain nonstop about "muddling ingredients" or making drinks for servers. Seems like she only wants to make basic drinks like a vodka tonic or rum and coke, essentially nothing that requires effort. As a former bartender- that's your job. Complaining is one thing, but doing it in front of customers is another. Loudly complaining to your full bar about how you aren't making any money tonight and don't want to make drinks is not how you'll get a tip out of me.

Relaxed place! The cheeseburger was the best I've had in a long time. Just amazing. The drinks were good. Our server, Emma, was amazing. She was attentive without being intrusive. She was the friendliest, most personable, most efficient server we could have wished for. If you visit, ask for Emma, she will take the best care of you!
