As of July 2020, the central Vilnius post office, which previously operated on Gediminas Avenue, has been moved to new premises on the adjacent Totorių Street.

The building of the Vilnius Central Post Office is a work of two eras - the historicism-neo-renaissance of the 1969th-XNUMXth centuries and the modernism of the second half of the XNUMXth century. During the reconstruction of the building in XNUMX, one of the most famous Lithuanian architects, Algimantas and Vytautas Nasvyčiai, preserved the historical facade, and created a new space inside, adapted to the function of the post office.
