Description:
It has an outline that can be described as oval to elongated pentagonal. The spines on the oral side are longer than those on the aboral side. The petaloid area slightly rises towards the apex, with a noticeably thick margin. This area is often encircled by a depression to such an extent that the center does not protrude above this edge. The oral side is concave, and the ambulacral groove is distinctly visible, running from the peristome to the edge of the test and connecting to the tips of the petals. Among the petals, the frontal one is the longest, while the anterior one is the shortest. All the petals are closed at their distal ends. The apical system is centrally located within the test, it’s rigid and has a pentagonal shape, featuring five genital pores. The areas with pores are not indented or sunken. In life, the color is typically a uniform shade of green or brown, occasionally with some dark brownish spots on the margins.
