RIP Secular Liberalism (in Muslim Circles)
Aslamu’alaykum folks. It brings me greatness sadness (not really; I’m fucking jumping for joy! 🥳) to announce the death of Secular Liberal Ideologies in Muslim circles. Hamas’ assault on Israeli targets on the 7 October have led to the collective White West dropping the secular liberal mask and announcing unconditional support for a Zionist genocide of the Native Palestinians. Just like that, the appeal of Secular Liberalism amongst Muslims audiences went extinct. Truly, Allah the Most High works in the most mysterious of ways! Now let us pay our “respects” to our fallen foe.

“Main Achievements” – Keeping Muslims down under White Western hegemony. Playing the role of Native Informant. Promoting Neoliberal Racial Capitalism and Individualism. Advocating naked assimilation into Whiteness. Ignoring Colonial and Imperial legacies. Being willing agents of the State. Supporting and/or downplaying Islamophobia. Seeing the West exclusively as the only way to be human and worthy of Taqlīd. Supporting Zionism. Lecturing Muslims with a sense of authority despite having no form grounding in any genuine Islamic Traditions. Preventing Muslim autonomy and agency from being effective. Bootlicking White Supremacist feet. Gaslighting. Having no issue with external interventions by Western powers in the Islamicate. Excusing the mistakes of Secular Liberals worldwide. Condemning Islamist organisations ad nauseam. Pretending to be “rational” and leading advocates of “free thought/enquiry”. Delaying inevitable Decolonisation. Cosplaying as Muslims. Making ordinary Muslims look bad and inherently criminal. Turning a blind eye to human rights abuses and regular violations of international law and order even though they claimed to be upholders of these discourses, values and institutions. Guilt-tripping Muslims and making them feel bad, irrational and out-of-touch. Seeking employment with hostile Kuffār who want to “reform” (deform) Islam/Muslims in a Western Liberal image. Refusing to support the Oppressed when they are actually being oppressed. Pretending that a “neutral” (Nation-)State will resolve societal issues. Promoting the maintenance of the false, Eurocentric Religious/Secular distinction. Maintaining Orientalism whilst denying to be Orientalist.

For those who did not understand this post, this is satire but also a genuine celebration at the death of “Universal” values that the White West claimed for themselves and by which they used to lecture and bludgeon the Rest of the World (non-Whites) with. The funny thing is that White folks only have themselves to blame for killing their own discourses since 7 October 2023!
White Western politics rooted in a Racial-Colonial Episteme has always translated faithfully onto an ontological psychopathology:
- Racism
- Colonialism
- Imperialism
- Slavery
- Settler-Colonialism
- Genocide
- Sexism
- Nationalism
- Islamophobia
And this was supposed to be the most advanced civilisation humans were supposed to be blessed with and to be grateful at all times for, or something… The peak of human history and the culmination of human experience…
You know you have nothing going for your Civilisation when Israel is made out to be your Vanguard and that everyone must be coerced into doing Tawāf around it, including rituals of censorship, gaslighting, double-speak, lying, mass murder, genocide, holocaust and so on…
Alhamdulilah, the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ can now kick on without impediment and engage in more constructive Decolonial Post-Western projects. The brave Palestinians are lighting the way. Hallaq and Co have finally been vindicated (not that their vindication was ever in any doubt).
