A showy little wildflower that pops up in woodlands and urban landscapes. This spring ephemeral has white or pink flowers as early as February. By summer, the plant has gone dormant and likely won't be seen again until the following year. Because of its ephemeral growth, it should be planted with species that are more persistent.
