| posting in a dead thread. the Fishing Girls show is really good. A worthy rival for Slow Loop if there ever was one. Very comfy vibes and lots of fun tho I won't lie, fish are fucking gross and I don't like touching them either. Baseball Girls show suffers from some really awful art and animation but it makes up for it in content at least imo. As a Kirara franchise I'm confident they can create good and fun episodes as they already have. I like all the character and am having fun with it overall. Expect this show to be one of the hidden gems rated under 6.0 (I still love you Twin Angel Break!) Jashin-chan Season 2 has been really fun right from the get-go. I'm enjoying it more than Season 1. I feel like the show has already established its characters so it feels more free to do whatever it wants and create some funny scenarios without being limited to a formulaic adherence to certain gags. Also they get meta a lot. Gal-gaku, turns out its a 3 minute short with terrible voice acting. I'll still watch it but it's a shame that it won't actually be the Aikatsu/PriPara clone that I was kinda expecting. At least we have Mewkledreamy for the kids show department. That one hit it out of the park with its first ep but yeah boys are way too prominent to ever get it featured in this club. Other non-CGDCT shows: Gal & Dinosaur, first half of the eps aren't bad, 2nd half of the eps are wtf tier. I feel like I'm having one of those experiences with this show where it's just so weird that I have to see what they do next. Not sure if I like it or not yet. Kakushigoto is one that people seem to really like but I honestly find it kinda boring. Not really sure what I'm missing here, I guess it's just not for me. Princess Connect is stupid fun. The epitome of a "turn your brain off" type of show. I have no serious complaints about it but I definitely wouldn't enjoy it as much if it wasn't in the simulwatch. Aikatsu on Parade Noelle ONA spinoff - Dear God Yes! I never knew how much I needed this. it's amazing. I LOVE YOU NOELLE-CHAN!!!!!!! |
| First impressions time that I'm watching! Yay! CGDCT shows ============ Houkago Teibou Nisshi It's yet too early to give out prices already, but I think it's a fun CGDCT show already. Hina is a cutie, but you can perhaps say this aswell to Natsumi. The two older girls Makoto & Yuuki however; yeah, I probably going to have fun with those aswell. Tamayomi I don't know about this one as for now it feels like a mixed bag for me. First of all I'm not really into baseball anyway since I'm Euroean based. Here in Europe we're more into tennis & football. For you North Americans, you guys know it as "soccer". Art-style really is at certain places really off at times especially with the faces. The other assets these girls have (like muscular legs etc), well, it feels like Studio A-Cat gives it more attention. The interactions in between the charathers still is enjoyable to watch though. Gal-gaku.: Hijiri Girls Square Gakuin For the first episode that I've watched, well... That charather (no idea who that is) sounded more like a dude to me then a teenage girl. Also sadly a TV short. Heh, we'll see if anymore episodes get translated so I jcan judge this is good or not. But my first impression for it's first episode? Yeah, I'm not sold so far. Mewkleddreamy It's because of Bajar and AP that I gave this anime a go. For it's first episode that I've watched. Well, that was pretty fun so far. Look kinda forward in looking more of this! Especially for high pitched noises from Aki Toyosaki as Mew, mya! Non CGDCT shows ================ BNA Anime is once again saved! I know it's a meme at this point, but I honesty think BNA is so far's one of Studio Trigger better shows that I've seen so far in my opinions. I honesty want to watch more of it, but I have to wait untill mid/end May for more. Digimon Adventure: (2020) "Di Di Di Digimon! Digital Monsters! Digimon are the Champions!" I remember getting up early before going to school to watch Digimon as a kid and this entry now being a modern reboot of the franchise gave me a mixed bag of anticipation. Turns out; after watching two episodes of this so far. Well, it's pretty good so far! I really try not to rely as much on nostalgia goggles while giving my opinions, but I'd say it's good show to watch for people that watched Digimon in the early 2000's and for newcomers. Gal to Kyyouryuu While I read previously some web manga from this, I honesty didn't expected it would get a anime adaptation in the first place. The first part is based on the web manga where I'm personally a bit dissapointed in as it feels the animated part is done in Flash or so, while the second half is live action that gives a biut more entertainment. But then again; I like some shit-posting every now and then, so yeah. *MLG airhorn intensifies* Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai?: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen Kaguya, President, Love detective Chika & OUR GUY Yuu Ishigami are back again! I really enjoyed the first season. Heck. I even started reading the manga after that because I wanted more. So far the first episode was again very fun. The only down part is, heh, I already know what kind of shenanigans will happen. But the adaptation so far is spot on. Kakushigoto (TV) Watched two episodes so far. Well, Hime is for sure a cutie. I really have a feeling this show is going to play with my parental instincts that I will never use and my emotions (that I try not to show to the world). Nami yo Kiitekure While the very first episode was very text heavy and the second episode was a lot more looser, I think it's an allright shoiw. Minare Koda feels like Eripiyo's (Oshi ga Budoukan Ittekuretara Shinu) older cousin that's in a crisis. She really does feel very accurate how on average 25+ year old single woman are these days. Princess Connect! Re:Dive Last but not least. Coming from the creators that gave us cute horse girls, well, atleast I can admit I like the show so far after watching two episodes. Kokkoro is obviously waifu-bait and I must say a cutie, while Eustiana "Pecorine" is the 'genki' type that will carry and gives us the laughs. The cat girl Kiruya is so far my favorite however. We'll see how further it goes I guess, but for now, heh, I can say it's an allright watch. |

| My schedule is amazingly blank this season and I love it Sunday Mewkledreamy - I'd like to see the other girls, but I don't think I'm up for watching this for a whole year, even if it does get subbed. Meanwhile, Boruto - Now at 152 episodes, recently started adapting manga chapters again for the first time in I don't know how long. Apparently the recent mini-arc was published two years ago. Cool. Monday Fruits Basket - If you didn't know, the 2001 anime of this was hated by the mangaka so much that she insisted that no one who worked on or performed in it be allowed to return for the new adaptation. I thought the 2001 version was great when I saw it in 2010, and I've seen comments claiming that it improved substantially on the manga. HMMMMMMMM.  I'm still not really sold on this new manga-faithful version, but since it's adapting way beyond where the first ended, I'll stick with it through the end. (Of course it's very much possible I wouldn't like the old one as much anymore if I rewatch it) Princess Connect - I guess I was right that this would be better simulwatched. No idea when I'll get to Jashin-chan, since it has to compete in the the back catalog arena. My reward to myself for finishing Maison Ikkoku and Future Boy Conan was to start watching Dirty Pair, and it's good, but at the same time I started rewatching "Tenchi Muyo" GXP, one of two spinoffs marketed as "Tenchi Muyo" while having a new main boy and no Tenchi (true, the use of the title does actually make sense). The other one is by far the most popular and highly rated part of the Tenchi franchise. I find myself falling into a cycle: 1) Through the 2000's I assumed GXP was a poor attempt at recreating Tenchi Muyo (later I found out that's also its general reputation) 2) I watched it ten years ago and it was much better than I was expecting 3) Recently: maybe I just had worse taste at the time? 4) No, my taste isn't better now. I love this show. It's (even) more vapid and pandering than Tenchi has ever been. And I seem to favor characters who draw criticism for having very little personality, whatever that says about me. I think this might be my favorite harem cast of all time. I've finally realized that Kiriko is the actual replacement for Kiyone in the OVA timeline, and I look forward to seeing more of her and the others years later in Tenchi Muyo OVA 5. The last couple of weeks I've been in the rare state where at all times in all conditions there is one show I want to watch, and it's GXP. I'm considering giving it a 9. But I still don't think it would have been a good idea to try simulwatching it. :P Also I started watching the one true legend so there's that I guess |
| good anime are plentiful this season, or, at least they were Kakushigoto: I'll be 35 in 13 months and I will still laugh at 90% of all dick jokes, also the parts with the daughter are wonderfully wholesome at the same time somehow. Kaguya is really really good when it lets the side characters do their thing and not the two main characters who are supposedly these perfect supergeniuses but barely show any hint of anything more than moderate genre-savviness Aikatsu on Parade ONA: I still can't believe they actually let us follow Noel as an idol it's so wonderful even if coco is still never going to get a live. Mewkledreamy: Oh I guess kids shows are just good now. Sure thing. Yume is already a treasure and also my spring PFP even if she likes boys for some reason. Rebirth For You I have never given even a single 8 to a show with a MAL average under 6. Rebirth is giving this decade-long streak one of its sternest tests yet. Peco's Pecos and the Anus Mouth of Friendship: It's not an automatic A+ but starting off with a hot girl and a precious girl is absolutely what every show should do. Kokkoro's anus mouth is cute and I will not hear any objections Jashin s2: Like Show By Rock last season, another sequel of a show that I strongly disliked is reborn into something I greatly enjoyed somehow. |

| Yeah, I'm quite convinced that's Ligia oceanica that you got photographed. I've seen the critter couple times in the past aswell over here at the coast area here in the country aswell when I was there. Never knew what it really was, but at least now I know it are actually isopods. Isopods are pretty cool. Also the fact Japan really like their isopods aswell. I'm trying to watch an episode of Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki OVA season 3 every now and then and the main thing why I don't really like it it's because Sure, there are some new fine THICC waifu's, you gotta give that. I haven't gotten into Jashin-chan Dropkick iether. I know I have listed the first season somewhere in my pile of Plan to Watch anime list. Who knows when I'll ever get into it. |

| Nagasarete Airantou is great. I was surprised to see a ton of comments on it on VRV, turns out some YouTuber pushed it a few months back so now me watching it looks like I'm following that crowd. Oh well, at least the zoomers seem to like it. At work I finished watching Genocyber, which was pretty fun. I liked how the story took place over a century, though it didn't do much of value with that. Dynamic Lapis Re Lights Girl Rankings So Lapis Re Lights has a lot of characters. It seems that the most important characters will be these ones who appear in this specific shot of the OP  Let's rank them. Except I'm not gonna rank all of them and I'm also gonna rank some girls who are not in this shot. This is a dynamic ranking so you can expect a lot of change as the season continues and the 19 girls shown above get disproportionate amounts of focus at the expense of background girls. Oh also I'll probably not actually keep this up for the whole season because laziness and also I'm not taking it that seriously. RANK # 1 Yue  This is quite an easy choice. Yue is clearly the best girl. The Queen of the academy. She is the Layla Hamilton of this show and you should respect her. Some plebian Lapis like Tiara should not even have the right to look at such a superior Noir like Yue. All hail Yue. RANK # 1.1 and 1.2 Yue's Friends The 2 other girls in Yue's unit. They are Noirs and have the respect and trust of Yue so they must be good. They are kinda boring tho so I won't bother to include a picture. RANK # 2 Ashley  She is tall and beautiful. Definitely a sekushii type of idol. She reminds me of Ran from Aikatsu. Despite her appearance she is actually super pure and she is the only one oblivious to the lesbian sex implications in this scene  Also I just realized in that screenshot you can see a little bit of skin between the skirt and socks there. | I'm glad you like her because I'm a bit worried she might become a bit of "the other girl" for me. It seems to me like Lavie and Ashley are the knuckleheads and ofc Rosetta and Tiara is like the main relationship of the show (until Tiara X Yue eventually happens). So what role does that leave for Lynne? Hopefully they can write her some good parts still, it would suck if your favourite gets neglected. |

It's a bit wierd I always get drawn to these kind of girls first. Maybe it's a good thing that I'm the one that notice them first when others don't. JUSTICE! Crunchyroll is now simulcasting Healin' Good Precure, starting at episode 13 because they don't have 1-12 yet (they will later). On CR, the usual righteous zero-piracy people are mad that a company which started as a fansub piracy site would offer a simulcast that only prior pirates can take advantage of. With that I decided it's now time to start watching the original show which has been in my CR queue since 2015, but oh wait, turns out the audio on their masters sounds like it was ripped from a VHS tape. (So yeah I'm pirating that) Originally I was hesitant to watch it because it only has two girls, until I heard here that it was like DBZ. Also them being bookish science bishoujo and hot short-haired lacrosse-playing tomboy (contrast failed attempt Uzaki) is probably preferable over either KiraKira or HeartCatch (at least until the later HeartCatch characters I didn't get to). I wish I'd started here instead of following the popular recommendation to start with HeartCatch. HeartCatch seems a lot closer to KiraKira than to this, which surprises me given KiraKira's reputation as a standout traitor to the brand. |

I don't want to watch a season 2 but it's inevitable I guess. the best way to get into precure is always with the current season, whichever season that happens to be at the time. downloading precure or aikatsu rips in the west is not piracy. Nobody owns the rights so you are not stealing from anyone. I wonder what the source on that money for gacha games are. I wanna know how much money Mahjong Soul or Toji no Miko makes but I don't really know how to look it up or if that would even be publicly available to know. |
