'The Hills' alum claimed she was "done dating" men in the city and noted that her kids always have "strong opinions" about any potential suitors

Kristin Cavallari is done with the Nashville dating scene.

After trying her hand at dating since her divorce from Jay Cutler in 2020, The Hills alum, 36, dismissed the idea during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

"I've decided I'm done dating in Nashville," she told the outlet, adding she can "guarantee" her next partner won't be a country music star.

"I would consider myself to be a monk at this point," she added. "You can throw anything at me at me, and I'm like, 'OK.'"

Cavallari announced her divorce from Cutler in 2020 after seven years of marriage and 10 years of being together. “We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of,” she wrote in an Instagram post at the time. “This is just the situation of two people growing apart.”

Since her split from Cutler, with whom she shares three kids — sons Camden, 10, and Jaxon, 8, and daughter Saylor, 7 — Cavallari has been romantically linked to country singer Chase Rice, comedian Jeff Dye and Bachelorette alum Tyler Cameron.

Though nothing ever panned out with those men, Cavallari told ET her children have high standards for whomever she dates, with son Camden being deemed the most protective.

"I tell them who I'm talking to or what's going on, and they have strong opinions about these guys," she explained to the outlet.

Cavallari, for her part, also has expectations for her dates.

"I'll go out with certain guys, and I'm like, they're great, but can I picture them as a stepdad?" she told the outlet. "And I'm like, 'no!' And that's the biggest part of my life. I am ready to settle down. I'm ready to meet someone."

This isn't the first time Cavallari has addressed her dating life since her divorce.

In April, the Laguna Beach alum revealed on The Jennifer Hudson Show that she was dating again but noted that she would not discuss her romantic life until she had found someone "serious."

"I just have taken a stance that until I'm in a serious, committed relationship, there's nothing to really report,” she told host Jennifer Hudson. "I’m having fun. I do have good dating stories."

“This is the first time in my life I've really dated," she added. "I've always had boyfriends, I got married very young, so I am just enjoying it.”

Just two months later, Cavallari indicated there wasn't "a lot going on" in her dating life, with her priorities being her children and friends.

"I'm not overwhelmed," the reality star said of her current dating life. "It's really not important to me right now. It's just not with where I'm at in my life."

"I've had a lot of fun in the last few years, just really focusing on my friends and getting to hang out with my friends again, because I didn't get to do that for a long time,” she added. “Really, when you're having little babies and three babies, essentially, at one point in time, that was my world. And so it's been nice to just have fun again."

While dating hasn't been a big priority for her, it’s also not totally out of the question. The Laguna Beach alum shared that she would prefer to meet someone in real life instead of through the dating apps or online — which she previously revealed she was doing.

“Anyone can be great on paper, and you gotta have that chemistry,” she explained. “I want to meet someone organically.”
