Praise and Worship Leader Psalmist SylMac‘s love for the art of gospel music is evidenced by the lives she’s touched and continues to touch. Her focus has always been to express her emotions as she sings praises and worships God.

As a classroom music teacher, SylMac introduced the playing of percussion instruments to elementary school students, and also supplemented gospel music in place of singing from traditional hymnals in secondary schools, which allowed students to express themselves as they worship. 

Psalmist SylMac’s musical journey has been one guided by faith and a profound connection to gospel hymns. In the midst of the pandemic, she felt a divine calling to initiate a prayer line, where praising and worshipping God became a cornerstone. It was during these moments of spiritual connection that the seeds of her debut single “The Lord’s Prayer” were sown.
