Aberdeen is the safest Scottish city!

Moving away from the familiar surroundings of your home town to study at university might be daunting. Not only are you having to think about how to navigate your way through a new city, but you may also be concerned about your safety. Well what about moving to Aberdeen, Scotland’s safest city?

Aberdeen has been named the safest Scottish city 8th year in a row. It is also on the Top 10 Safest Places in the UK list, placed even higher than Edinburgh! With its vibrant atmosphere and a low number of crimes on record Aberdeen has not only gained a place in the safest cities category but has also been featured in the list of the Friendliest Cities in the UK!

Aberdeen has also retained it’s Purple Flag for the 7th year in a row, a prestigious award given to cities that focus on providing a vibrant and diverse mix of dining, entertainment and culture while promoting the safety and wellbeing of visitors and local residents.

Statistics show that Aberdeen is welcoming, friendly and safe. The people of Aberdeen are polite, helpful and have a very embracing attitude towards people from other countries, making Aberdeen’s hospitality one of the highest in the UK!
