A check valve always has the task of blocking the flow of a medium in one direction and allowing it to flow in the other direction.

The closing element is usually closed in one direction by a spring, in the other direction the medium can flow with as little resistance as possible. Cones, balls, flaps, discs or membranes are used as closing elements. Alternatively, there are also check valves without return springs. In this variant, the sealing element is pressed into the seal seat by gravity or the flow pressure.

Standard check valves are usually offered with internal threads or flanged connections in brass, plastic and stainless steel. Customized solutions or adaptations are generally not available on the market.

At SFS, we try to work out the optimal geometry of the check valve with the customer, taking all parameters such as size, connection, pressure temperature, material and durability into account. We offer check valves in plastic, brass, stainless steel and equip them with seals made of NBR, EPDM, FKM, FFKM, POM, PU, PEEK or silicone according to customer requirements.

We even developed a solution that can be screwed directly into the pressure connection.

Our offer includes customer-specific solutions with optimized space requirements, integration into existing products, adapted opening behavior and an optimal price. For anyone who needs a check valve with special properties.
