2 Timed Writing What is style? How would you describe your personal style? How would you describe a style for a person you know: maybe someone whose style you admire or find unique? What’s unique about it? What makes something stylish?

4 Naturalism “Slice of Life” or “hyper-realism” Incredibly lifelike, spontaneous appearing; almost voyeuristic. The fourth wall is present.

8 Classicism or Neo-classicism Consciously imitates Greek or Roman styles using the 3 unities.

9 Shakespearean Adhering to Shakespearean style: language, structure, and presentation follow Shakespearean format and structure

10 Romanticism Full of strong emotion, with a sense of nostalgia for simpler times. Plays are presented in idyllic (or model) situations, settings and circumstances
