A true indie gem! This game finally managed to 'scratch the itch' I had for about 20 years!

A bit of context. I got my first PC really late, so, naturally, as a kid, I used to hang out at my friends' house who already had PCs. That's where I first discovered Disciples II and fell in love with it's art, gameplay, and the genre in general. I've always been on a lookout for similar experiences, but kind of given up seeing what happened to the Disciples franchise as well as industry's overall shift to more accessible games.

While Solium Infernum looks and plays nothing like Disciples, personally for me, spiritually, it feels very close. This game delivers on all important aspects that make up a unique strategy game -- great systems depth, unorthodox approach to strategic play, absolutely amazing art and the asynchronous multiplier ties is all together into an even better package.

I would love for more people to discover this game and support the developer by owning it so that we could send a message that players appreciate these kinds of games and experiences. No weird battle passes, skins, requirement for online connection, no gotchas or lootboxes. It's a pure game worth supporting.

With that said, if you are even remotely interested in this type of game or even the strategy genre as a whole, I strongly urge you to consider buying Solium Infernum.

Incredible entry in the Politics/4x genre! Feels very similar to Diplomacy proper and games of Politiks.

PRO TIP: You can play this game with just a mouse: Making it one of the BEST Steam Link candidates i know, since you can connect a mouse to your phone or tablet and literally play anywhere. I do at the front desk of my Corpo Job <3


The art, O.M.G. , incredible card art imo love looking at every single unit and artifact.

Very good complex strategy, simultanious turn system make it especially good for multyplayer gaming.
