SPOILER ALERT!

So here's what we have at the top of the Mount Chiliad.

These 3 are the main characters of GTA 5 (Michael, Franklin & Trevor)

This is Michael (and his alienation from his family)

This is Franklin. Cracked egg symbolizes his rebirth (fresh start in his life).

This represents Trevor. It refers to his past life as a pilot (if you have completed the Story Mode, you probably know that).

This line is the connection between Michael and Trevor (since they knew each-other before they met Franklin)

This line means Michael met Franklin first (before Trevor).

And Trevor's line is higher because he met Franklin later on in the game.

Michael and Trevor's lines have end here. This refers that both of these can die in the end.

Franklin's line reaches the top

These many lines of the mural refer to the main story that these 3 characters are going through.

The 5 "X" marks

Lightning and Eye shaped thingy.

So the mural on the Mt. Chiliad refers to this little secret right here (UFO).

There's gonna be some spoilers in here, in case you have not completed the Story Mode yet.

So here's what we have at the top of the Mount Chiliad.

These 3 are the main characters of GTA 5 (Michael, Franklin & Trevor)

This is Michael (and his alienation from his family)

If you already completed the game, you probably realized that he doesn't really have a good connection with any of his family members, as they always argue with each-other.

This is Franklin. Cracked egg symbolizes his rebirth (fresh start in his life).

Franklin's life has changed a lot after he met Michael and Lester (he used to live in the hood before he met these 2, now he has a house in Vinewood Hills).

This represents Trevor. It refers to his past life as a pilot (if you have completed the Story Mode, you probably know that).

Trevor got fired from Air Force (he even says this in GTA Online in Series A Funding Heist). Since he lost his Air Force life, he met Michael and became a bank robber (first mission in Story Mode).

This line is the connection between Michael and Trevor (since they knew each-other before they met Franklin)

This line means Michael met Franklin first (before Trevor).

And Trevor's line is higher because he met Franklin later on in the game.

Michael and Trevor's lines have end here. This refers that both of these can die in the end.

If you have completed the Story Mode, you know that in the last mission, you have a choice. Kill Michael, Kill Trevor and Deathwish (best choice). If you kill any of the protagonists, they will no longer be available in the game. By choosing Deathwish, you kill all your enemies instead of your main characters.

Franklin's line reaches the top

because no matter what choices you make, he will still be alive (since he's the one making the choice in the end).

These many lines of the mural refer to the main story that these 3 characters are going through.

The 5 "X" marks

These "X" marks mean that there are 5 requirements you need in order to reach 100% story mode completion.

Lightning and Eye shaped thingy.

The painting that looks like an eye, is actually an UFO. And Lightning means stormy weather. This means that after 100% completion of the game, UFO will appear in stormy weather at the top of the Mount Chiliad.

This can be found on the top of the Mount Chiliad, which confirms the theory.

And the UFO logo will be under it.

So the mural on the Mt. Chiliad refers to this little secret right here (UFO).
