Built by Jeskor's Mother Carine, this Lightsaber was her weapon used as a Jedi Ambassador. When unofficially leaving the Jedi Order due to affairs regarding her family, she gave this lightsaber as a gift to her son. Master Calanny, a friend of Carine's within the Jedi Order, stole it from Jeskor on the planet of Sullust, and during his fight together with his Padawan against the Sith Jeskor, his padawan sliced the lightsaber in half before being struck down by a furious Sith. Back on Korriban, a skilled craftsmen was able to reconstruct the Lightsaber, but he placed a red Crystal in it.

BIOGRAPHY

I. The Coruscant Youngling
Jeskor Vaugh was born many years ago by his loving mother Carine, and his father Timarr, as the twin brother of Obyris Vaugh who was born just minutes before he was. Both of the children were held a secret from their first breath onwards as their mother had been a Jedi Ambassador and both her and her closest contacts within the Jedi Order were, at least until a little while ago, living the Jedi Codex very strictly. They refused to bind themselves to another one in order to keep their feelings and thoughts clear. But Carine was unable to after she had met Timarr, a simple spaceship technician.
As she had still been a Jedi after their birth, she saw both her children and her husband very rarely as she was always with the Jedi, but her family understood that.
The two young sons of hers, the younger Jeskor and the older Obyris, showed great sensitivity in the Force, and were given tasks to complete while their mother was either present or not. Apart from their training in and with the force, their father taught his younger son the theory of piloting while he taught his older son mechatronics.

Once the two brothers were at the age of twelve, their mother decided that it would be a good time to have them train fighting with the weapon of a Jedi: The Lightsaber. Of course, as the two were too young and inexperienced to handle a lethal lightsaber, theirs were set on training mode. But the two boys knew that what they were training with would eventually be a deadly weapon, and thus had respect of them nevertheless.
Jeskor’s older brother held little of the ancient Force, and the mythical ways of the Jedi. At a certain age he decided to rather lurk in the streets of Coruscant, while his younger brother was fascinated with these ancient things. He studied them, and became increasingly powerful in little time at quite an early age.
His decision to lurk in the streets of the planetary city backfired at once for Obyris, as his envious personality unfolded. When training with his brother under the watchful eyes of their mother, Obyris stood no chance against his younger brother. He struggled to fend him off at any point.
His envy had risen and Carine, who had been a Jedi Master after all these years of being a loyal servant of the Order, noticed so by the way of his acting towards Jeskor, and his way of lightsaber fighting – a raw bashing, without any form or technique.
At once she let her family know of her concerns. Her concerns that Obyris would be unable to control his anger and envy later on and fall into the hands of the Dark Side. To protect her son, she forbid him to train with the Force and the Lightsaber. Jeskor, however, seemed promising, an heir to her place in the Order, and was thus encouraged to keep up his training.

II. Of Heirlooms and Runaways
Just a few months later it had been the fourteenth birthday of the two young brothers. Carine, of course, visited her family, and both her and her husband Timarr prepared presents for their children. No matter whether they had seen their idea behind the presents as noble and fair or not, their choices were soon to cause fatal events for the family.
Jeskor, a private Jedi Youngling that had yet to be noticed by the Order, had received a very special gift. His mother gave him one of the two lightsabers she was wielding – a green lightsaber with a brown leather grip. It was given to him due to his efforts of becoming a well-trained Jedi, and for his own security. At this time these words meant little to Jeskor as he thought of himself to be save, but it was likely that this gift was given due to a vision Carine had.
His brother Obyris, envious but just as excited after his brother had received his gift, expected to be getting the other Lightsaber his mother wielded. His furious reaction was unable to be settled after he had gotten but a republican droid due to his talent in mechatronics.
Two years later the tragic relation of the two brothers, who were so close once but now a wall of envy and hatred had been built between them, took a drastic change of things as a fatal event occurred. The madness that was increasingly building up within Obyris due to his unresting envy and hatred regarding his brother had him make a decision that would change the life of the family at once. He decided to leave his family, reasoned with the preference of their younger child, and thus free himself of this “family treason” as he titled it.
Unsurprisingly, this decision had more negative consequences than it had good ones. Just days after his departure, Jedi Master Carine Vaugh contacted her husband Timarr. Her closest contacts within the Jedi Order had found out about her family and, due to their heavily conservative approach to the Jedi Codex, unofficially forced her to leave the Order for an unknown amount of time.

III. Darkness
Two more years have gone by. Two more years in which Jeskor unrestingly improved his performances in the usage of the Force, lightsaber combat, and – most importantly – the understanding of the Jedi ways; but also two years in which a feeling of incompletion was present in every member of the family. It was present due to Obyris, who had not been seen by them ever since his sixteenth birthday. Whether it was a bad choice or not, neither Timarr nor Carine were searching for him either. This was, in their defense, due to both the size of the planetary city, and due to the lack of knowledge as to whether their son was even still on Coruscant, or whether he wandered off into the depth of the galaxy long ago.
Now, regardless of the past events, it had been the eighteenth birthday of Jeskor and his lost brother Obyris. Jeskor, who had been a teenager a day before but now he had been an adult, had little interaction with the world outside of his apartment. Too busy had he been with his studies of the Force, the Jedi ways and his Lightsaber training that he had done with Obyris, and his mother after the disappearing of his beloved brother. It was due to his lack of interaction with the outside world that his parents invited him to have a trip to a Cantina in the lower layers of the city of Coruscant, which he promptly accepted. Leaving his blaster – and her lightsaber – at home, the parents trusted on their unofficial Jedi son, who was carrying the unofficially exiled woman’s old lightsaber on his belt, under a linen poncho.
A few hours have gone by that were spent in one of the many cantinas on this level of the city, a few hours of celebration, of drinking, laughing and generally having a good time. But at one point, deep in the night, it was time for the family to leave this place and return to their apartments on the higher levels. Little had they known that this trip had been the last one any of them had that included no negativity at all.

In front of the entrance to their apartment there waited a small band of four men. Dressed in black armor, and covering their faces, there were three of them behind who appeared to be their leader. A leader that was known by the family, more known than by anyone else. Obyris Vaugh, the runaway son of the relatively old parents of the family, has returned at last. Without a word he and his men grabbed the firearms that they wore either on their belts or hanging down from their back, and fired at the parents – carefully trying to miss the youngest son Jeskor. While Timarr was hit without any defenses, Carine dodged some of the lasers with her Force abilities, but it were moves in utter despair until she too was hit. Standing next to the ragdoll-bodies lying on the ground was Jeskor, not hit by any laser, and with his lightsaber tightly grabbed in his hands, ready to defend himself against the next salve of lasers. But it would never come to this scenario, as the band of four left after their hit on Obyris’s parents. He, who had lived in anger and envy for six years, wanted his brother to feel just as bad as he did thanks to him for all those years. And bad he felt in this night and every night after it.

… Many months have gone by since that day, months in which Jeskor has never felt the same way he did before. A man, promised to be the heir to the spot of Carine Vaugh within the Jedi Order has felt nothing but pain, loneliness, anger and fury. A wish for revenge, a wish for bloodshed. No longer was Obyris his brother, now he was his enemy.
But this were not the thoughts of a Jedi, and Jeskor knew so. He knew that, if he would seek revenge, he would not follow the Jedi ways. But his personal affairs were more important to him than the Jedi teachings. Long ago, when the discussion regarding the cancellation of Obyris’s training was held, Jeskor heard his mother speak of the Dark Side. The Sith. Users of the Force who used their fury and hatred to fuel their power, and annihilate everything in their way. His unresting feelings, and the loneliness in the apartment that was once the one of his entire family, and now it was but his own, had Jeskor decide his fate one special night. He would leave this planet that offered him nothing but aching memories, and an enemy lurking in the shadows of it who would strike sooner or later. After packing up his most needed things, he took his mother’s old Jedi Shuttle, which she would most likely not need anymore and left his home. The knowledge he was given by his father regarding piloting made him able to promptly fly the shuttle.
His destination was a place his mother would most likely murder him if she knew, but it was the only place where he felt like he would get what he was looking for. His destination was the capital of his former arch-enemies the Sith: Korriban.

IV. Korriban
Jeskor’s arrival on Korriban had been a risky decision. It was his luck that the Sith did not blast down his republican shuttle, nor him, considering he wore a Jedi’s tunic on his arrival. Greeted, whether one wants to call being searched without any words by strangers just that or not, was he by the Sith closest to where he landed. The Sith unbuckled and took away his lightsaber, which was an heirloom by his mother now, making Jeskor snap immediately, unleashing all his anger on the one Sith who carried Carine’s lightsaber at that point. He was fended off easily, got thrown to the ground and was just millimeters away from being ended by the three Sith that formed a triangle around him.
An intimidating voice, however, commanded them to back off of Jeskor. A man in a black robe, with a wide hood thrown over his head that casted a shadow over most of his face, had noticed the beating and interfered. His name would later be known by Jeskor as “Darth Ravigis”.
Ravigis saw what Jeskor had just done, and knew that it was not the way of a Jedi. With little trust, and with his hand on his lightsaber’s hilt, Ravigis kneeled down before the hurt Jedi, and asked him about his motives of coming to this planet. Jeskor explained his anger and sadness, and his past of being a Jedi in training. A powerful Jedi in training he added, unnecessarily as Ravigis felt the power emitting from the young man. The torrential Light Side power within Jeskor, which was blocked with his negative feelings – Ravigis felt it all. He understood the Jedi’s motives, and knew he would not attack the Sith, as he searched for their help. As a sign of trust, which Ravigis never had, but this was not necessary to be shown, the Sith Lord ordered the Sith around him to return the Jedi Lightsaber to its rightful owner. After reclaiming his heirloom, Jeskor had received the order to stand up and follow, and so he did. Following Darth Ravigis, and being followed by one of the three Sith that threw him to the ground, the Jedi walked blindly through the sandy valley of Korriban, surrounded by temples. Tombs of ancient Sith Lords, as he would learn to know later on – and those words unraveled his lust for knowledge once again.

A few days have gone by, days in which Jeskor was not allowed to stride over the home of the Sith without being watched from all the shadowy figures around him. But at last he was ordered to enter one of the many mysterious graves of the Sith. If he, a trained Jedi, would enter it and return a shard of an old Sith relic without being caught and killed by anything that might attack him in it he would prove himself worthy of becoming a Sith.
Jeskor promptly entered it, and even though he had many stops to have a moment in which he looked at the artfully designed walls of the catacombs, he eventually had slain what lurked in the tomb and returned with the shard he was ordered to fetch.

Impressed by the will of the young man, Darth Ravigis proposed the skipping of his status as an acolythe to the other Sith Lords due to the understanding of the Force, and his powerful will. He was granted this request, with the condition that Jeskor would first learn the Sith Codex.
Ravigis’s new student – as it seemed – took little time to learn the words of the codex, and learned to understand it during his training under Ravigis after he was accepted in the ranks of the Sith.

V. The forging of a weapon
Many years have gone by by now. Many years in which Jeskor Vaugh learned what it meant to be a Sith, forgot what it meant to be a Jedi, but still focused on his personal revenge, a revenge that reminded him of the murder of his beloved family by his own brother. Memories that fueled him with hatred, an emotion so strong it even impressed the experienced Darth Ravigis.
In all those many years Jeskor has learned how to use many abilities of the Dark Side of the Force, but he also started his road to perfection regarding his personal style of Lightsaber combat. His initial style, the first Form which was mainly taught to Younglings, a viable form but not the best one – Shii-Cho – was no longer practiced by the human man who was in his twenties by now.
His master noticed that Jeskor needed more agility, more speed and a more brutal approach to fighting. His solution was the training of form seven – Juyo, also known as Vaapad. Not only was he taught a new form, he was also introduced to a new weapon: the Double-bladed Lightsaber. More dangerous than a Single-Bladed one, with many advantages and disadvantages, Jeskor practiced this weapon and found a great liking in it not much later.

Throughout his years as an apprentice on Korriban, the new Sith Jeskor strengthened not only his viability in lightsaber combat, but also his knowledge of the Dark Side, and the ancient mysteries of the Sith. From his childhood onwards Jeskor impressed his parents with his unresting hunger for knowledge, which was seen as a big interest in both the ways of the Jedi and the practices in piloting. But it was more than that. It was not only interest, it was almost like an addiction to him. While other people were addicted to spice, he was addicted to knowledge. Unknown to him, however, was the corruption of the Dark Side that hid within the words and actions of what he practiced and learned. Other apprentices took years, some a quarter or more of their lifetime to gain as much corruption of the Dark Side as Jeskor gained in a few years. Six years ago he came to Korriban, and yet he looks little like the life-enjoying boy he once had been. His skin was pale, his eyes were orange and partially red – he looked evil, just as evil as the feelings he carried within himself. His master Darth Ravigis however was not concerned about this. He fueled it with more knowledge, with each day, hoping for his student to become as powerful as the ancient Sith Lords before his time.

As a reward for his hunger for knowledge, his success bearing training in the Dark Side and his unresting anger that still fuels him after five years by now, Ravigis eventually took his student to the planet of Hurikane, where the highly force affine and powerfully fighting Sith would fetch his very own lightsaber crystal. He was taken to Hurikane on purpose, as Ravigis believed his student’s crystal being purple to be most fitting. Waiting on the shuttle he brought Jeskor to Hurikane with, Ravigis meditated and awaited the return of his apprentice Jeskor, who would return days later with a cyber crystal of purple color: a Hurrikaine crystal. After the completion of this task, master and apprentice returned to Korriban where Jeskor was told to complete one of the most rewarding tasks of a Sith: to build his own lightsaber. He carefully chose the grip, and every other part of it, to be the most fitting to his liking and to his violet crystal – a crystal he liked very much as violet, for him, included both the remaining Jedi side of him, but also included his new life as a Sith. A crystal that represented him as a being. Eventually he completed his lightsaber, which turned out as a steel lightsaber with a purple crystal and a matte black paintjob over it.

With five years of daily gaining of knowledge in the Dark Side of the Force, an excessively fast developing of Dark Side corruption within himself, and a deadly use of the Juyo lightsaber form in addition to his own personal lightsaber, Jeskor was seemingly ready to complete the task he was always preparing for. It was time for him to have his revenge on Obyris. His master Darth Ravigis agreed promptly, as he knew this would not necessarily settle his fuel of anger, he rather saw it as a final test before becoming a full Sith, a test in which it Jeskor would eliminate the last remaining member of his family, a man of his blood. But Jeskor had long forgotten about this..

VI. Revenge
The volcanic planet of Sullust was Obyris's new hideout. This was the information Jeskor, who was a full Sith, but not yet a Sith Lord, received by spies he and his master sent out through the galaxy to find his former brother. Obyris, so it was believed to be, was the leader of a shady group of outlaw scum that lived on Sullust and that had close contact to the Hutt Cartel.
Little did Jeskor care about the hutts, less did he care about the manpower Obyris may have. He cared about impaling his brother with either side of his previously crafted lightsaber. With these thoughts in mind the Sith, who was no longer wearing a simple, grey tunic, but a black robe over it which closely resembles the one of his master Darth Ravigis. Under the hood, mostly hid in a pitch black shadow that was cast over it, Jeskor wore one of the Sith Masks that his new ancestors – ancient brothers as he called them – wore.

Intimidating as he had looked, Jeskor left for Sullust on his own. His master stayed on Korriban, and he took no Sith with him. As powerful as he had been, he was able to actively influence his personal Force Field to appear as invisible, as long as he would not come too close to another being, thus he was assured of getting to Obyris without being noticed, but if so he swore to himself to be slaughtering everyone who joined that traitor.
After entering, and then again exiting hyperspace and landing on Sullust, many kilometers away from where Obyris’s base is rumored to be located at, Jeskor took one of his few but trusty speeders from within his spaceship and, without a second thought, set course for the Outlaw base.

Shortly before his arrival he stopped behind a small volcano, where he got off his speeder. Here he channeled his Force Powers and started to manipulate the Force Field surrounding him, making him appear as invisible. He would only have become visible by coming close to another being, in which case his manipulated Force Field would be noticeable by anyone. As he is not yet done with his training, this skill felt incredibly difficult to hold active, making him unable to execute quick movements and such. Slowly as he was forced to be he made steady steps towards the base which he entered through the open gate, guarded by two heavily armed guards which, luckily for him, stood widely apart from each other. In the base he spotted what appeared to be a whole battalion of armed outlaws, and they all looked like the three that fired upon his parents. As Jeskor came closer and closer to the biggest building within the high and thick walls of the outlaw base – which was the headquarter as it appeared – his interest in slaughtering everyone in the base got bigger and bigger. Tens or even hundreds of men, all looking like the murderers of his family, the men that changed his life, ran around him. But he knew he was too weak to, so eventually he focused on but his brother again.
In order to enter the headquarter he had to enter through a small one-man door, in front of which stood a guard. Jeskor hid behind a nearby partial wall before leaving his stealth phase. As soon as he did so, he used his Mind trickery abilities to make the guard leave the door. Once she was far enough away from it, Jeskor snuck towards it, then straightened himself and entered it while releasing the mind of the guard, who was visibly confused by what had just happened.

As he entered the heardquarter as intimidatingly as he could – which wasn’t too hard for a Sith as one would guess – he expected an armada of militants in between him and his brother. He must have forgotten about the Force affinity of his own brother, who long knew of his arrival.
“You must have forgotten who learned the Jedi ways with you. Our heritage binds our Force affinity to each other, do you really expect me to not notice you, brother?”
“If it binds us as much as you claim it to, then today is the day we both die, traitor. You speak of heritage, yet you murdered our parents. You call me brother, yet you left me in agony. You are but a coward, a weak, envious man with no chance against what I have become.”
After this small confrontation between the two brothers a fight broke out between them, a fight in which Jeskor used his double bladed lightsaber, and Obyris used Carine’s second Lightsaber, which he expected to be receiving at his sixteenth birthday, but stole on his eighteenth instead.

It appeared as if Obyris knew how to fight even though he officially stopped training when his mother told him to. During their duel he revealed that he trained vibroblade combat with his friends after he abandoned his family.
As the fight went on, Jeskor’s emotions went on a rollercoaster. While he initiatively wanted but his brother’s death, he saw their past in his eyes. He was of his blood, and for a second he even forgot about the cold blooded murder on his parents.
This was a mistake, as he would soon find out. As his hits got softer and easier to block and he partially spaced out, Obyris took the chance and – with a swift cut – dismembered Jeskor’s left arm at once. Refocused on the current situation by the seemingly unbearable pain he witnessed as of now, Jeskor’s fury soon unleashed again. He dropped his lightsaber as the Juyo form felt hard to execute with just one arm, and used his Force Powers to dominate his brother. By throwing him against the walls of the building and unleashing tens of Lightning’s out of his bare fingers that hit Obyris, he eventually got his brother to the point of surrender. It was at this point that Jeskor used his most recently learned ability – It was at this point that Jeskor used his most recently learned ability – an ability in which he entered the minds of his enemies, sought out their worst nightmares, memories and such, and make them relive those very moments over and over again, until the eventual point of madness – on his brother in order to make him feel his worst feelings once again.
And after that, he felt them once more, and another time after it. Jeskors lust for revenge had turned into a lust for torture by now, but his fun was stopped as his brother reached for his green Lightsaber and impaled himself with it, in order to end the torture.

With his brother dead, Jeskor quickly escaped from the base the same way he entered, but his adrenaline – as well as his blood – had run out as he reached his ship, unfortunately before he could enter the coordinates for Korriban.

VII. Sith Finale
Darth Ravigis, who established a strong connection with his apprentice over the last years, has felt that Jeskor was in trouble. He put together a small team of medical units and set course for his apprentices coordinates. Here they found an unconscious Sith, lying on the ramp of his spaceship.
After closing up the wound of his apprentice with his – fairly untrained – ability to heal wounds by focusing his Force Energy onto them, which took a fair bit of time as he personally disfavored this ability in regular scenarios, he told his team to return to Korriban at once while he navigates Jeskor’s ship to the Sith Homeworld.

Days after the Sith’s return to his new home, Jeskor found himself on a surgery table. As he inspected himself and the room, he noticed that his left arm was no longer his own, organic arm, but rather a cybernetic arm with claw-like fingers. Uncomfortable as he was with it, he slowly contracted and extended his new fingers and all other joints of his arm, and suddenly a feeling of power overcame him. As his new arm felt appealing after a few minutes, he had also remembered his attack on his brother, and his elimination of him at long last. The dark room which only had one source of light, which was placed directly above Jeskor, suddenly lightened up a little as a magnetic door opened. As it closed, darkness flooded the room again. It was Darth Ravigis who had entered the room to find his apprentice alive. After, more or less, congratulating him for his successful assault on Obyris, Ravigis ordered his apprentice to see him in front of the Sith Academy in merely a few hours. Little did Jeskor know that the intention behind this meeting was his opportunity to fight his master in order to claim the title of a Sith Lord.
He fell asleep as his master left again, and woke up ‘merely a few hours later’. After he got up and dressed himself in the cloak he wore the other day, which was tattered due to his heated duel, he walked out of the room and towards the exit of the academy. As he got closer to it, he heard clashes of Lightsabers, and felt as if his master was in trouble. As he exited the academy he saw Darth Ravigis dueling a masked Sith, most likely another Lord of the Sith. Traditionally, Jeskor did not interfere, just as his master did not the past times when he fought with acolythes or other Sith.
This, however, turned out to be a mistake: Another masked Sith joined the opponent of Ravigis, and soon after the two powerful opponents of his struck him down. As Ravigis dropped to the ground, the two Sith walked away and Jeskor, unsure as to what to do, did not attack them.
As he approached his master, who was about to become one with the force, his master extended one of his hands and held a Sith Holocron – a pyramid-shaped object emitting a red glow – towards his apprentice. “Study it, and claim your destiny”, said his master before having his last breath.

Jeskor knew of Sith Holocrons, but never had he been in possession of one. He wanted to retreat to his ship, a shuttle that Ravigis lend him, but was he unable to find it on the landing bay. On its spot there was standing an Icarus-Class Star Courier. A Sith that stood next to it made eye contact with Jeskor’s mask before letting him know that Ravigis offered this ship to him as a gift. Jeskor accepted overwhelmed and thankful. As he entered the ship with the Holocron tightly grabbed with his mechatronic hand, he thought of a fitting name for his new secondary home. As a tribute to his fallen master, he called his new ship the ‘Ravager’.

As he settled down in the Ravager he placed the Holocron in front of him on a table. Written on it there was a language he had seen before, but never learned. It was the language of the Sith. Before, Ravigis would always translate it for him. But now, so thought Jeskor, it would be time for him to learn it himself. Before he returned to the academy, where he would try to learn it in the archive, he explored his new ship a little further. In his storage room he found a display case, which Ravigis most likely placed there in order for Jeskor to deploy Carine’s lightsaber in it. As he grabbed for it on his belt, he found it to be missing. Then he remembered that it was missing as he woke up already, as he would have laid on it otherwise – due to it being buckled on the rear side of his belt normally. Rage flooded the Sith as he stormed out the ship. In the blink of an eye he returned to the room where he woke up not long ago, but the lightsaber was not found in it either. What he did find, however, was a holo-disc next to where he picked up his robe from. On it there was a stranger who claimed to be a Jedi Master that knew Carine. He reclaimed the lightsaber for the Jedi Order and would like to speak with Jeskor, the ‘fallen Jedi’, on the planet of Mustafar.
With the thought of it being a trap, but also the only place where his lightsaber could be, Jeskor returned to the Ravager and set course for Mustafar. The ancient knowledge would have to wait for once. Wait, a word Jeskor had never used regarding any piece containing knowledge before. But as always, personal matters had priority for the Sith, who had not yet been a Lord.

VIII. Mustafar Duel
Mustafar. A planet of lava and fire. Unusual for Jedi as Jeskor thought. More than unusual for a Jedi.
On the landing bay, as the white gleaming courier ship had gotten a grip on the ground, Jeskor threw his robe’s hood over his head and the mask he always wore to hide his corruption, which has advanced a lot by now.
As he stepped out his ship, into the steamy hot environment of this planet, a nearby door opened and a man in a nice robe stepped out. Unlike the Sith’s robe, the stranger’s had no attrition, and was of brown color, not black. He introduced himself as Jedi Master Calanny, and as he did so, a young Twi’Lek girl ran through the door he had entered through as well. As she positioned herself next to Calanny he introduced her as his Padawan Illumia. Jeskor, standing on place with hood dancing with the wind and his mask being seen relatively well this once, introduced himself with but his last name Vaugh, although Calanny knew who he was.
“You are not what you have become, Jeskor! Your mother was an upright Jedi, even though she hid you from us. I am sorry for what happened to her, but anger will not always be your fuel. It will also be your death!”
“Her fear of the Darkness made her weak just like you are. It gave me the power to avenge her, and in return I swore my allegiance to it until my death.”
“Then I suppose your allegiance will end today, Sith.”
“You cannot win, master of the Jedi, for I know both the Light and the Darkness.”
After this short, but clear conversation, a fight broke out between the Jedi Master and his Padawan, and the Sith “Vaugh” with his double-bladed Lightsaber. As he used his Juyo Form in full capability once again he outmaneuvered the two jedi, and while blocking both lightsabers at one point, his claw-like fingers dug into the Jedi Master and weakened him on the spot. Jeskor used his momentum and agility to kick the Padawan away and slayed the Jedi Master at once. As he crouched low and unbuckled Carine’s lightsaber which he had spotted on Calanny during the conversation, he did not notice Illumia already charging in again. When he finally sensed her he noticed that his personal lightsaber was on his right, and so he quickly ignited Carine’s lightsaber to block the incoming strike of the Padawan girl. A small miscalculation made the Padawan slice right through the lightsabers hilt, splitting it in half and making it drop out of Jeskors hand.
Furious due to the destruction of the lightsaber he powerfully pushed her away with the help of the Force, then charged in with his own lightsaber and, using all his power in his form, became way faster than the Padawan, slicing off both of her hands before she dropped on her knees.
The man she never saw the face of, due to a steel mask blocking the view onto it, and a hood casting a shadow on this very mask, stood in front of her for a short moment in which he remembered his days of being a padawan. Then he remembered his trainer – Carine, and her lightsaber, which was just destroyed by the injured girl in front of him. In a swift motion he then struck her down at last.

Unwilling to spend more time on this planet, Jeskor collected the remaining parts of Carine’s lightsaber and returned to his ship. As he left Mustafar and returned to Korriban, he carefully tried to reconstruct the broken lightsaber, and managed to by the help of a skilled craftsman. This craftsman, another Sith, was unwilling to place a green crystal in it however. Reluctantly Jeskor told him to place a red crystal in it, and so he did.
Jeskor ultimately reclaimed his precious heirloom, but is it no longer the weapon of a Jedi, but rather the weapon of a Sith. As it were the Jedi who destroyed the original heirloom, his fuel of hatred was no longer aimed towards his brother, and later on the thief of the lightsaber, now it was aimed towards the Jedi, and as he swore allegiance to the Dark Side once more in his thoughts, he too swore himself to annihilate the Jedi.

IX. Moraband Residence
After Jeskor’s duel on Mustafar and return on Korriban he had studied the Sith language and learned to read and speak it. After he had done so, he left Korriban – where his life as a Sith started – and set course for Moraband, of which he heard to be containing more Dark Side energy than Korriban. As he arrived on Moraband he soon felt it, he felt all the power emitting from this planet.
Different than many, so he thought personally, he didn’t attempt to land near the pyramid of the Sith or the Valley of the Dark Lords; he landed far off of the civilized places.
His spaceship had been carefully placed on top of a relative even mountain, which was located next to a taller one. This taller mountain contained a small cave with an entrance not bigger than a hand or two at maximum. Jeskor artificially enlarged the entrance with the use of his lightsaber and entered the cave. After placing torches to bring some light into the darkness within this cave, he unloaded a set of furniture from his ship which he, too, placed within the cave. Eventually he had everything a living organism needed to survive within the cave, but also his most important property by now. In the middle of the cave, which was now more of an underground house, he placed a round table on which he placed the mysterious Artifact.

Ten years have since passed. Jeskor has studied the Holocron, which was Ravigis’s personal one. But he has also studied many other sources of Dark Side energy. Sometimes he got into contact with the Sith trainee’s on Korriban who he sometimes trains his favorite Lightsaber Form – Juyo – with.
However, after receiving the news of the new Supreme Leader, Jeskor believes his time has come to join the Sith Forces and destroy the Jedi once and for all, which is the last personal task he has for himself.

PERSONALITY

Jeskor is a living book. His hunger for knowledge is endless, and so is his knowledge due to that. He is usually a quiet man and doesn’t stand in the midst of a group but rather on the edge of it. He observes situations and says something whenever he feels like his words would have a positive influence on the outcome. Negotiations, however, are nothing of his liking. His lust for power, and his knowledge in the Dark Side, have made him hatred in person, which has him unexpectedly attack his opponent before a second word could be spoken. Although he has sworn his allegiance to both the Dark Side and later on to the new Supreme Leader, Jeskor Vaugh’s priorities start with personal interests, followed by knowledge. Factional matters come third, before everything else however.

Jeskor is highly bound to his personal memories, which is the reason for him carrying his mother’s old lightsaber with him and giving his new ship a name very close to the name of his master.

Jeskor usually wears a Sith Mask in order to hide the Sith corruption that he himself finds unappealing to look at, but this mask has since given his enemies much fear, which could be another reason of him wearing it.

A negative side-effect of his never-ending hunger for knowledge and his priority of personal affairs is that he sometimes acts without thinking. Although he is wise in knowledge, he often is not in actions. While he is skilled in fighting both with his very powerful Force power, and with his agile Juyo Lightsaber style, finding himself outnumbered or in a trap may be the cause of his settings of priority.

Strengths:
• Very powerful Force User
• Highly agile and fast Juyo(/Vaapad) Double-Bladed Lightsaber Combat
• Craves knowledge

Weaknesses:
• Personal matters and knowledge have priority
• Prioritized matters have Jeskor act without spending a thought about it
• Addicted to knowledge

ABILITIES

Lightsaber Forms

FORM I. SHII-CHO
■■■■■■■
■■■
Shii-Sho, also known as the Way of the Sarlacc, is the first Lightsaber Combat form of the Jedi.
Its simplicity is its strength, due to this form using way less power and stamina in its techniques compared to other styles.
The movements rely on basic techniques of sword combat, not necessarily with a lightsaber.

It is useful against multiple targets, although less powerful than the Makashi form, and other ones.

FORM VII. JUYO/VAAPAD
■■■■■■■■
■■
Juyo, the precessor of the seventh form of Lightsaber combat Vaapad, also known as the Way of the Vornskr, is a not totally complete Lightsaber combat style.
It is very effective when used in duels. Due to its lack of completion it takes alot of power to use it, making the user often not able to control his feelings and anger anymore.
This will cause him to act particularily brutal.

Force Abilities
The following is a list of Force Abilities that Jeskor is trained in using, and how well he used them.
FORCE SPEED ■■■■■■■■■■
Force Speed is an ability in which the force user manipulates the Force to increase his personal speed. This gives him/her an advantage in both movement speed and reaction time.

FORCE JUMP ■■■■■■■■■■
During the Force Jump ability, the force user uses the Force to make himself able to jump much higher than a regular human being.

FORCE SHIELD ■■■■■■■■■■
Instead of practicing the Force Body ability, in which the force user strengthens his body unnaturally to absorb damage and similar impacts on his/her body, Jeskor has practiced the Force Shield ability, in which a shield is being projected around him. This Shield disappears instantly after the first hit however, making it unable to fend off stabs or burst firing.

TELEKINESIS ■■■■■■■■■
Telekinesis is a Force Ability in which the force user is able to grab and move objects and such without physically interacting with it.

FORCE SENSES ■■■■■■■■■■
By using the Force around himself, Jeskor is able to hear, see or feel much better or worse. This gives him the advantage of sensing danger mucch faster and in advance, or see further than a regular human being.

FORCE STEALTH ■■■■■■■■■■
By manipulating his personal Force Field, Jeskor is able to camouflage himself. This camouflage wears off if he comes too close to another living organism or by producing too much noise.

FORCE HEALING ■■■■■■■■■■
The Force User focuses his Force Field on one particular spot of either himself or another being, healing a wound over a certain period of time. Due to the lack of training, this takes Jeskor very long, making First Aid Expertise more useful.

MIND TRICKERY ■■■■■■■■■■
The Force User enters the mind of his target and fools him or her by letting them think something false or making them say things they did not want to say.

LIFE DRAINING ■■■■■■■■■■
The Force User connects his presence with the one of his opponent and drains life energy out of his enemy, regenerating his own health and consistently weakening the other being.

FORCE LIGHTNING ■■■■■■■■■■
The Force User casts many Lightnings out of his fingertips that either hit an object or a person.

FORCE CHOKING ■■■■■■■■■■
The Force User manipulates the opponent's Force Field, making him feel pressure on his throat. This can lead to suffocation.

BREATH CONTROL ■■■■■■■■■■
The Force User uses the force to extend and protect his lungs, making him able to breath much longer. This is primarily used underwater or within a cloud of deadly gas.

TAPAS ■■■■■■■■■■
The Force User manipulates his personal Force Field, making him feel much warmer in a cold environment.

FORCE LISTENING ■■■■■■■■■■
The Force User uses the force to hear much better, but unlike with Force Senses, this power focuses on a particular area, making the User able to listen to a conversation from relatively far away.

TELEPATHY ■■■■■■■■■■
The Force User connects his thoughts to another one's, sometimes even over a great distance, making the two able to connect with their minds. This takes a lot of power to be executed.

MEMORY WALK ■■■■■■■■■■
The Force User enters the mind and memories of his opponent, having them relive all of their worst thoughts, events, nightmares and such. This often drives their opponent to crazyness, depending on their psychological strength.

MEDITATION ■■■■■■■■■
Unlike simple meditation, by using the Force, the user falls into a much deeper state of meditation, seemingly becoming one with the force.

Thanks a lot to Prudence for this template, it's really awesome!

Jeskor is my first character, so if you have any critique et cetera regarding anything, whether it may be his strength, or anything else, go right ahead.
A short disclaimer for his strength is that I had him planned as a background personality lurking around here and there spreading his wisdom and not necessarily bashing in the front lines. But blast all your critique at me nevertheless!

Affiliation and Rank will be edited once I have applied and have been accepted to my desired faction.

Yay more sithies to play with!!! ^.^ I'll just jot down my thoughts as I go through this the first time.

1) Keep in mind that the Jedi do not have a temple in Coruscant and that the Jedi of this timeline are allowed to be married and have children as they see fit. I noticed that you didn't specifically mention training by the order, just by his mother, so that's fine. I also noticed that you made it a personal choice of his mother to act as she did about her attachments. So either you've read through the site's info very thoroughly, in which case nice job! or it was coincidence, in which case, this was just a friendly reminder. :)

2) As per what I said before, Jedi are allowed to have families and such in this site's lore. Therefore, telling them about her family wouldn't cause her to be reprimanded at all in the way that you have written. Not a big deal, but it just wouldn't have happened that way.

3) Moraband is a completely dead planet, which the Sith usually travel to only for sacred rituals involving their dead. I'm unsure if having your guy live there for ten years will be allowed or not, but that'll be up to @Gamov to decide.

4) You can fill in his rank as Sith right away, you don't have to wait to be accepted :)

5) Keep in mind that on this site, during roleplays, we try to stay away from using force abilities by their names. Like, you wouldn't write that he used force push, instead you'd try to write something like he used the force to push his opponent. So as far as your list of abilities, it's cool to have and to use as a resource, but I would try not to use the names of specific abilities in your writing. That's more of a personal preference thing, though, I suppose.

6) Force healing is a light side power and thus would be difficult for a dark sider to use, which you've already said. On this site you cannot control other writer's characters with the mind control abilities - you can use it on NPCs all you want, but not on PCs. Life draining is an extremely advanced power and would not be a viable option for a Sith ranked character, I don't think. I believe our FL has stated that she wouldn't want to see anyone below the Lord rank using that particular power. Memory walk and force choking are both powers that you won't be able to use against PCs in combat, I believe. Both are unnable to be blocked or countered against, and thus have been deemed unfair against PCs.

7) Some of your picture links are broken, if you care about fixing them ^.^

8) Not a big deal, but I think @Bauren should give his approval for the use of the Jedi in his backstory.

Overall I like the character and I love how in depth you went with his background! Hopefully we can write together sometime!

Yay more sithies to play with!!! ^.^ I'll just jot down my thoughts as I go through this the first time. [...]

Appreciate the feedback alot!

1) I was actually unsure how things are in this timeline, so I wrote it in a way in which it'd be fine either way. But good to know either way.
2) I'll find another way to get her exiled then, hehe.
3) Sure, my intention was that he is within Sith territory (as he has sworn allegiance to the Supreme Leader, the Sith and the Dark Side), wants to be at a place where the Dark Side is strong, but also wanted to have dead silence around him so that he could meditate and study without any disturbance. Rewriting that last bit to another planet shouldn't be a problem.

Question: I was initially going to go for Malachor III in the Malachor system, but I can't seem to find it on the territory map. Is it actually missing for any particular reason or am I just a little blind?

4) I'll fill it in once I got accepted, feels more like an achievement than just putting it in there right away. Like, actually joining more or less :). Thanks for letting me know though.
5) Yeah I've read that already, been a bit lazy regarding that. I'll write it as wanted on this site in the future.
6) Although Jeskor knows both the Light and the Dark Side, Ravigis does not. So I'll think of something else regarding the Force Healing.
Yeah, also read about abilities one cannot use on PCs, was primarily to have the backstory turn out the way it did.
You see, my original intention behind Jeskor was to have him be a Sith Lord living far away from the Sith Brotherhood and, kind of, be just an old, wise man in some lonely cave. As the Lord bit isn't possible to start with, I had to rewrite that. For me personally it was important that he was to be seen as an extremly force sensitive, wise and knowledge-hungry, yet relatively young man. The Life Draining is still a.. "relic" of the original Sith Lord idea. Thus I wont use it until I've gotten to at least that very rank. :)
7) Right away! They must've broke down after my posting, so I would probably not have noticed. Cheers
8) Should I ask @Bauren for it or sit back and await it?

I'll have a look at the points that are to be editted by thursday.

EDIT 2: Disable Rich Text Edit = Profit.
Images fixed.

On some limited time here, so I'll just chime in on a couple of the more prominent points.

1. Moraband: I personally have no issue with him having lived there for X number of years. The planet is basically a tomb world where the Sith bury their dead in order to draw on their knowledge/power. Though they can commune with those spirits on Korriban at certain times of day, I see nothing really stopping them from physically visiting the planet at will and/or deciding to live there.

2. Force Healing: The manner in which the Force is handled in this timeline is a bit more "free form", meaning that Sith and Jedi can tap into the same powers. A Sith who uses the Force to heal themselves isn't really breaking any rules, nor would it be any more difficult for them than a Jedi. If a Sith has the will/desire to use the Force in that manner, then that's within their ability to do so.

3. Force Choke: That power may be used against another Force sensitive character, as they have a means to defend against it. Non-Force sensitive characters, however, do not and its use against them is restricted.

4. Memory Walk: If it is agreed upon beforehand between you and another person (for the purposes of your character's personal stories), then you can use that ability on their character. But only in that instance and under those circumstances.

Once I get home from work, I'll give this a closer look and a more thorough review. At a glance though, he seems like a solid character.

OK, correct me if I am wrong, it has been a while since I read the rules on this, but aren't Thought bombs banned? I'm just wondering because I feel like it was stated at one point in the rules. This could be me just drawing a blank, but I'm pretty sure that those are banned. I do like the fact that you added in the suicide part, it takes a little but of the OP-ness out of the ability.

Other than that, he looks like a fun character, I hope to RP with you one day.

Yea, I mean I wouldn't see why it would not be banned; but considering it's a suicide ability I have no intention of actually using it. Consider it more of a depth-addition.

Edited some of the points that were made previously.
Regarding Moraband: A relatively dead Sith tomb planet? Sounds like a well-fitting place for an evil, grim Sith to study the Dark Side without any disturbances, so Gamov considers it as fine. I was aware of the fact that it's relatively dead and is only visited for rituals and similar events, but I think as he is available to be contacted - and able to travel - roleplaying on Moraband and / or disturbing its peace is nothing that is planned from my side as of right now. As long as noone decides to throw a surprise birthday party in Jeskor's hideout, that is.

• Descriptions added to Gear
• Relationships and Pets added to Basic Information
• Biography slightly updated (Mother is no longer official Exile ; Force Powers described, no longer used by names)
• Family member statuses added
• Disclaimer added to Thought Bomb ability
• Kills & Combat added to Roleplay Information
• Rank edited, waiting for acceptance into the Sith Brotherhood before adding the prefix

Looks awesome! I'll tell you something, most of the time I skim through bios, especially long ones like this one, but you wrote it so well that I really did enjoy reading it all the way through.

I'm glad you brought up the issue of Moraband too, because I've been under the impression that we needed special permission and specific circumstances to even visit the planet, let alone live on it. As per Gamov's previous comment on the subject, though, that apparently is not the case. Which now has me eager to send my Sith to visit yours there :P If you'd be agreeable of course.

Especially because of the Music, right? I mean.. Music!

Sure, I'd be in for that of course. But before I do anything I must wait for my acceptance into the Sith Brotherhood of course!

Alright, sorry for the wait.

Background wise, everything seems fine to me. You might still need to get one of the Jedi leadership to sign off on it though, jut to be safe. It won't impact your character's approval as a Sith, mind, but having the rubber stamp from the Jedi never hurts either.

Skill wise, I must insist that you remove Thought Bomb. Not only is the ability amazingly overpowered, but according to what I read it took multiple Sith Lords meditating very deeply on the Dark Side to actually accomplish. Thus, it does not seem this is anything that can be feasibly achieved by any single individual. Not to mention that if you were to actually try using this ability as a "last ditch effort" in any duel, chances are you would accomplish nothing beyond killing Jeskor as "insta-killing" another player's character with an unblockable attack is plainly against the rules.

Let me know when you've made that change, and I'll give Jeskor the stamp of approval.

The Jedi History here doesn't make that much sense. Like, his mother can have been a Jedi, that's not an issue, but "Jedi Ambassador" isn't really a rank. Also, I think her having been a Jedi Knight rather than a Master would make more sense.

Also, I'm assuming you mean "Jedi Code" rather than "Jedi Codex." The Jedi Code at this point doesn't forbid people from having families and what-not, and her friends in the Order wouldn't have had the authority to make her take any sort of exile whatsoever, or to forbid her from training her son as her own apprentice. It'd be viewed as a bad idea all around, but it wouldn't be any actual offence.

(Also, this is a side note, but I'm assuming by "mechatronics" you meant mechanics, which was another thing I noticed.)

But yeah. The Jedi History here is goofy and doesn't make that much sense, for the reasons I pointed out. You can make small edits to reflect that and make it make sense because it doesn't seem that important to the character, though.

Other than that, I found the first strength interesting. "Very strong in the Force." Unless otherwise mentioned, that basically applies to every Force Sensitive character on the site, and Jeskor will be held to the same standards as all the rest regarding Force use, so don't expect that to actually mean much of anything in PvP. =P That includes the life drain, by the way. That's an attack that can always be countered in some way, so don't expect it to work all the time.

(Although - and this is just a random thing - he seems to be fairly oddly highly skilled in a good few powers, beyond just the basics. The life drain and Force stealth especially - those are supposed to be difficult and draining powers, but it looks like he's very nearly a master with them. Interesting, although I suppose not entirely unrealistic; although I would recommend maybe toning them down or something like that, if I were you.)

Also, Gamov, just a point of clarification I noticed: In the rules right now, from what I saw, Force Choke and similar powers can actually be used against non-Force Sensitive characters, based on the nature of Force use right now anad the concentration it requires. Concentration which can be disrupted in a myriad of ways.

Also, I find it funny that it's okayed that he lives on Moraband, considering how in the planet write-up and the old announcements about it, Moraband was mentioned as a "Forbidden world" and that it was "Sacriligeous" to set foot upon it except for during sacred burial rites and the like. The sort of thing that a person would be executed for doing. But hey, that's just me. I'm not in charge of the approval here. xP

Hopefully I don't look like I'm undermining your authority or anything Gamov, but I just couldn't resist the opportunity to toss my opinion in here too. <3

No worries, mang.

As far as Moraband is concerned, the write up for it says the living are scarce, but not non-existent. It's just a super spoopy not!Korriban full of Sith ghosts 'n stuff. And Force choke is restricted against non-FS characters. Section 3 - The Force, Point H. =P

All in all though, the character seems fine to me. I'm not too particularly worried about skill levels in Force powers as stats really don't mean much in the grand scheme of things.

@Sverker, you're approved!

Finally, regarding combat vs non-Force users: Please note that while there are no strict bans on specific powers against non-Force users, this is done with an expectation of fair play. As with any other combat scenario, the opponent must have a reasonable opportunity to try to avoid, negate, or disrupt the power used by a Force user. This does not mean that there will always be a way to avoid an attack, but, as always, a simple rule should be followed: no auto-hitting.

From the Guide to Force Powers.

I think those rules haven't been updated in a while, which would explain the contradiction.

"H. You are not to use Force Choke or similar technique against a non-Force user to kill them, as a non-Force users has no way to counter that attack. This is the same for any other power that cannot be countered by a non-Force user. However, almost all of the powers can be used against non-Force users."

Gamov's point was straight from the official rules of the site. The guide to force powers is just that - a guide. The overall point is that if you try to use something like force choke on a non fs character, they still have to be allowed to get away from it. In reality a non fs couldn't really defend against that type of attack, but for the purposes of this site everyone has to be allowed a reasonable chance to avoid any incoming attack, including force powers.

I know it's from the rules.

And the Guide also counts as official rules, as you would know, having read the rules. Like, it doesn't tell you exactly "you can use this power but not this power" but it gives you the normal guidelines for Force use on the site.

Which is why there's a contradiction there that somebody ought to point out. Which is why I said there was a contradiction. Especially considering how, for the most part, those are the same rules that were on when I joined in 2013.

Like, seriously. Did you even read my post that pointed that out? =P
