Kristen Stewart celebrated her Oscar nomination by golfing.

“I did not go back to sleep,” Stewart told Variety senior events editor Marc Malkin at the Film Independent Spirit Awards Red Carpet on Sunday, where she served as honorary chair. The actor noted that she spent Oscar nomination day with her partner Dylan Meyer and friends at Neon, “Spencer’s” distribution company. “I went with my girls at Neon and played nine holes in Los Feliz… We all became really good friends, so we were just like, ‘Let’s go hit some balls into small holes.’”

Stewart, who became a best actress Oscar nominee this year for her role of Princess Diana in “Spencer,” added that she was “so stunned” to receive the Academy’s recognition last month.

“I’ve been doing this forever. I love movies so much,” she said. “I just wanted to see Pablo Larraín’s face because we made this movie so very much together… I can’t believe it, I’m still… sort of floating around.”

Stewart shared that she wouldn’t have imagined her Oscar nomination at the start of her career.

“Little kids have little fantasies in their heads… But, obviously, I didn’t start making movies to be an Oscar nominee,” she said. “I bet as a little guy, I was probably like, ‘Yeah, if you’re going to do something, you should do it right.’ But now, I can’t believe it.”

Stewart also noted that she hasn’t picked out an outfit or prepared a potential acceptance speech for the ceremony on March 27.

“I’ll give it some thought, as soon as I can put one together,” she said. “[I’m] very unprepared.”
