This artwork is part of ’Synchronism’, a collection where large-scale digital sculptures are stretching the boundaries of physical laws. Where my ‘oddly satisfying’ animations meet physical installation art, trying to capture a sensation of eternity; a feeling of something limitless and unbounded. The synchronous and perpetual motion is the essence of this meditative installation, which features a pendulum and two massive, rotating sculptures in synchronous motion, caught in an infinite dance. This piece is inspired by Symbiosis, a term describing any relationship or interaction between two dissimilar organisms. In this case however, neither really benefits from the relationship.
