Growing: Prefers full sun and well drained soils. Grows in the wild near the coast and in drainage areas near rivers.
Edibility: Not typically used as a food.
Medicinal uses: Many of the same medicinal qualities as common mugwort. Great for improving digestion and for improving menstrual flow. Topically it can pull out infection and is anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory.
Permaculture Uses: Great aromatic pest confuser for poor soils. Easy to grow and low maintenance plant. It’s a native plant which is beneficial to many beneficial insects.
