What is Osteomyelitis?
- Osteomyelitis is an infection of the bone
- Multiple different pathogens and risk factors
- Can be present in Adults and Children
- May develop from infected wounds, haematogenous spread and poor vascular supply
- May present in different sites depending on aetiology
- Not contamination!
