aka Livistona sp. Blackdown Tableland- another Australian Livistona in Queensland, this one a monoecious (but functionally dioecious, as most are) palmate, solitary species up to about 40' without the weeping/droopy leaflets of many of the other Australian Livistonas. This one has very flat leaves with coppery to almost orange undersides to the leaves that reflect nicely in the evening sunlight. Even as young palms that coppery coloration is ornamental. Cold hardiness is about 27F, but juvenile plants are badly damaged at 27F (not killed outright necessarily).
