Oleoresin

Description: Paprika oleoresin is an oily resin obtained from the dried fruits of Capsicum annum L. After dried fruits are finely ground, paprika oleoresin is formed with an extraction process using organic solvents. This oleoresin is a combination of flavor and color principles extracted from sweet paprika which shows color principles much more than flavor principles.

Ingredients: 100% natural extract of Capsicum annum L.

Usage Areas: In spice seasonings, snack foods, processed meats, ethnic foods, and other food products needing the color and characteristics of paprika.

Packaging: Available in 20 kg UN approved HDPE pails.

Shelf Life: 12 months

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Appearance: A viscous reddish homogenous liquid, pourable at ambient temperature.

Solubility: Soluble in vegetable oils.

Dispersibility: Disperse on a free-flowing carrier such as salt, dextrose, maltodextrin, etc. Disperse in oil pre-blends for addition to processed foods or flavorings.

Directions: Add directly to food products with adequate mixing.
